Vietnam Cooking Classes

If you want to try some new Vietnamese foods, or maybe you’re intimidated by the street side food stalls, or you want to learn more about Hanoi culture, then I recommend booking this tour. Dung was the best tour guide! We ate maybe 8 or so new foods/drinks at different shops, and she also told me a lot about the history of the area and how Hanoi people live! So insightful and very kind. I was alone and was a little worried about it being awkward or there being too much food, but Dung was so friendly and knowledgeable, and helped me gauge how much I should eat to make sure I could enjoy the tour fully ~ If you’re considering a food tour, then go for it!! I recommend bringing an umbrella, water, and hand sanitizer! My favorite was the fresh sugarcane juice after walking around in the heat!!

It was an unforgettable experience! Our guide, Trang, was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. She shared a wealth of stories and insights about Vietnamese culture, history, and the unique dishes we tried. What made this tour special was the focus on vegan cuisine. As someone who enjoys plant-based food, I was thrilled to explore the variety of vegan dishes that Hanoi has to offer. From delicious papaya salad, typical vietnamese breakfast, fruits, drinks. every dish was a delight. Our guide took us to hidden gems, places we would never have found on our own, and introduced us to the diverse flavors of Vietnamese vegan cuisine. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hanoi, whether you're a vegan or just a food lover looking to experience the rich flavors of Vietnam in a unique way

A real cookery class - from shopping for ingredients at the local market to consuming the fruits of our labours. Linh is charming, precise in her instructions and provided a full recipe book on completion. A sociable, fun Day. Highly recommend.

Our host was super nice, and talkative. We learned a lot about how to cook Vietnamese food! Also these were honestly the best spring rolls we had so far after 1 month of traveling. Especially the cabbage rolls were delicious :)

What a wonderful evening this was! Our instructor was lovely and such good fun, we learned a lot. She also made us a bonus dish of fried taro root, which was delicious! The food we made, we sat and shared as a group afterwards and it was wonderful, especially with the bonus dishes of white rose and wonton that the kitchen threw in. All in all a lovely experience I'd highly recommend if you want a little introduction to Vietnamese cookery!

Was a great class. Awesome to do as a small group in her home, overlooking the city. Made great food, relaxed and was able to talk about the food, culture and life in Vietnam. Was a great afternoon.

We had such a great time on the cooking course, and would also recommend going to the market in the morning. Thom was a very informative guide and gave clear and simple instructions when we were cooking and the food was delicious. It was one of our favourite days of the holiday and we would recommend to anyone visiting Hoi An! Thanks so much

Das ernten der Zutaten (Gemüse, Kräuter und Pilze) war sehr schön. Linh hat uns viele interessante Informationen weitergegeben. So zum Beispiel die medizinische Wirkung diverser Kräuter. Unsere Gruppe war klein und Lihn war ein grossartiger Lehrmeister. Er hat uns u.a. einige einprägende Grundregeln betreffend Zutaten der vietnamesischen Küche beigebracht Ein wunderschönes Erlebnis. Diesen Kochkurs auf dem Bio-Bauernhof sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen.

The teacher was great. He explain everything. The food was good. But when we start with dinner it was no relaxing atmosphere. The different dishes came fast and when we are not really finish the staff came for clean up the table. Please let everybody sit and eat and enjoy the evening.

Lua was absolutely amazing and really knowledgeable. We also booked the market tour wich is a really cool experience. We went to vietnamese markets before, but without a local, tourist like us are just lost. Overall a great experience!

very hands on and you eat what you prepare after each course. Not located in a restaurant kitchen, this is a true at home cooking environment where you meet the entire family. I have taken many cooking classes in different countries around the world and this class felt the most authentic. I highly recommend this cooking class
