My wife and I took our cooking class with Yuca earlier this month. We loved it! We were welcomed to Yuca's home. She gave us very clear directions on how to get there. During the class, we learned a lot in the few hours that we were there. Yuca was very patient and clear in answering all of our questions and walking us through each step. The gyoza and ramen were both delicious, and we feel ready to obtain the ingredients we need and try it out at home.

The course was really well done. Our host Kaori taught us a lot about this style of cooking and was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed it.

From the first moment, we had a great time with Kurina! She has a huge knowledge around Miso, vegan Cuisine and Fermentation so we learned a lot from her. Also, the lunch she prepared was really amazing and sooo tasty! Would recommend 100%!

Nahoko made our ramen from scratch class so informative and fun! Having the class in her home made the experience so warm and inviting. Everyone's noodles came out great and we all enjoyed our ramen! Thank you Nahoko! Aloha!

Words cannot describe how special the class with Kurina is. We had a truly great time. It felt like visiting a friend rather than taking a mere cooking class. Kurina welcomed us warmly at her home and prepared an incredible lunch for us. After the lunch Kurina taught us how to prepare miso. During the whole time, Kurina shared with us her expertise all around macrobiotic and vegan nutrition and we had great conversations. We felt like we learned so much more than "just" how to make miso. As for the miso souvenir, we took it back to our home country which was not a problem at all and are now waiting for it to be ready to eat. If we have the chance to come to Japan again we would love to visit Kurina again.

This course was so much fun. We got to make 4 Wagashi, the process is extremely detailed however the instructors made it easy to understand and had nice clear instructions so that even someone clumsy like me could make something to be happy with. It is interesting how much you need to concentrate and how quickly the time passed by. The class was finished off with a traditional tea ceremony where we went through the steps together for the ceremony and the reasons for why each action is completed, it was a fascinating bit of knowledge and both instructors were more than happy to fill in more details and talk about the origins of the ceremony. I could not recommend this class enough

My son Anni had a great afternoon with Nahoko who has completely changed our views on Ramen and preparing noodles. Nahoko provided lots of background information on umami, ingredients and Japanese food culture but most important was the cosy and friendly atmosphere that she created for us in her kitchen.

we enjoyed a really beautiful afternoon learning how to prepare traditional Japanese sweets. Yoko is really professional but at the same time warm and friendly.

If you’re searching for an authentic wasabi experience, look no further! Our wasabi course on October 5, 2024, was more than just fascinating—it was an immersion into nature’s heart. The breathtaking area provided a serene backdrop, and even the rain added to the charm, bringing fun to the experience and couldn’t stop David. His warmth and expertise made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommended! 🌿

Such a great experience! An amazing group of cooks from all over the world traveled to meet in this one moment in time to cook traditional Japanese food together. So fun!!! This husband and wife duo love what they do and it shows extremely informative and they made the culinary experience exciting, educational and most importantly… delicious!!!

We had a great afternoon and evening at Nahoko‘s house in Tokio. She teached us how to cook Ramen from scretch. We made our own broths (also vegeterian one) and Ramen noodles. The created Ramen was so delicious! We also had some really inspiring conversations about the life in Japan. In total we really enjoyed the class and recommend it to everyone! Thanks Nahoko (and your husband) for that unique experience :)

Masako-san was incredibly sweet. We cooked three memorable recipes, had a wonderful conversation, and sent me home with handmade souvenirs. I would love to do another course the next time I'm in Tokyo.

Not only did Nahoko provide us with her recipe and practical cooking tips. She provided us with theory and background knowledge and explained why she is doing each step while cooking. This class also provides insights on Japanese culture. I would recommend this cooking class to anyone who has a interest in cooking and Japanese cuisine. It is the best experience I had so far in Japan and also the best Ramen I tasted.
