Valencia fields are traditionally rich in vegetables. Mediterranean climate and irrigation culture that the Moors brought in the early middle-ages combined to make this land one of the best vegetable producers in the world.
Our experience will start at "Mercat de Russafa" for a market tour. Fresh markets in the city keep products from the nearest fields in close proximity.
Next, we will go to our cooking school which is a five-minute walk. On the way to the school, you will learn about the local architecture we pass and get to see some antique farmhouses in the city. These can both accommodate animals and cars because not many years ago, the vegetable fields reached this point.
Once at the school, you will wash your hands and get ready to cook. Our local chef will guide you in the cooking procedure of each vegetable and teach you tricks for the perfect taste. You'll also learn what Valencian people do: cook while eating tapas and drinking beer or sangria.
Finally, your first paella is ready to eat! Salads, drinks, wine, water, and Valencian desserts will be included in your lunch.
