With fewer tourists than other areas of Bali, Karangasem is a beauty that boasts many beaches and temples, including the famous Pura Besakih. With less outside influence than other areas of Bali, the traditions and cultures of the locals are much more intact, this is demonstrated in our cooking classes. Go abroad a fisherman’s boat to learn about how the Balinese catch their fish where you will be able to catch and cook your own lunch in this class. We also offer classes where you can visit a local Balinese village to collect your cooking ingredients at the local market. At the end of the cooking class you can enjoy your meal overlooking the lush Bali paddy fields or overlooking the prolific Balinese jungle.
