What a perfect way to spend the day, visiting the local markets and learning to cook authentic Thai food from SCRATCH like literally milking coconuts and adding local ingredients that are not ready-made with a fun group and a great chef and mentor (Nan), we had such a wonderful time and the food we made ourselves was so delicious made us think we could open our own restaurant. Definitely would recommend anyone who wants to have a unique experience outside the normal activities in Bangkok. 10/10.

I was so impressed at how well this worked! There were 11 of us in the class, and so for each course at least 3 different dishes were being instructed at the same time, but it worked perfectly. It worked very well for our family as we have very different tastes. Absolutely excellent food, and I would love to take the class again just to try making the other available options!

Market trip was fascinating. Learnt so much about the local food. Then back at the venue we cooked 4 lovely dishes. Great demo each time by Mai before the 6 of us then worked at our own station to reproduce the dish. Lots of help available if we needed it. Best bit was at the end when we sat and enjoyed the fruits of our labor. Fab meal! Best Thai food I have tasted!!! Recommend this course 100%!

I booked this course as a birthday gift for my girlfriend during our Thailand vacation. Ant and her brothers did an amazing job in making this class an unforgettable experience. They were all very friendly, took pictures and set a very enjoyable mood. The location is very inviting, and the course was well prepared and executed. There is a good balance between watching/learning and cooking (a part together, then everyone by themselves), enabling everyone to get the maximum out of the experience. The choice of courses was a tasty one and we were very happy when everyone got a little cooking book (made with love) with even more recipes - all of which we were able to recognize while exploring Thai street during the rest of our vacation. The stir-fried chicken with cashew nuts we did here was the best non the less - really delicious! It comes to show, that Ant really is an amazing chef. We’ve learned a lot of stuff in a very interactive and engaging manner. A very clean and tidy place with very respectful and helpful staff, our group teacher was nothing less than amazing, smiling and having a great attitude all along. This was one of my favorite experiences so far in Thailand, highly recommend it.

We were so lucky to pick Chef Aey's cooking class, she is so nice, funny and full of life! We're a family of 4 and Chef Aey picked us up from the train station and took us to the market where she explained the different ingredients that we were buying. We then went to her home where we made 4 courses while Chef Aey explained Thai cooking to us and revealed more about her amazing life. Her English is very good, and she explained everything really well so that the kids could easily follow the techniques, from squeezing the milk from the coconut shavings to the pestle and mortar and stir-frying using woks. This was a genuine experience that we really enjoyed, and the memory will stay with us for a very long time. Thanks Chef Aey!

Loved this cooking class! Our teacher Gung was really friendly, helpful and had interesting anecdotes about the ingredients and cooking techniques. We made coconut milk and tamarind paste by hand, and we each got our own wok for cooking. Between meals, the staff clean up so everything is ready and prepped for your next dish. Come hungry- between the four dishes, the cost of the class is worth it for the amount of food itself! After the market tour, the class includes a short tuk tuk ride to the school. We will definitely try to cook these dishes at home!

My friend and I did a class with Naan, and it was an outstanding experience! I highly recommend this class to anyone - no matter what cooking experience you may have. Naan is fun and knowledgeable and is the perfect guide for learning how to cook Thai food. The house is beautiful and the way the food preparation - cooking - eating areas are set up makes for a seamless experience. The team's attention to detail and eye for presentation adds to the experience and fills you with delight!

Okay, let's just start by saying that you really need to book this cooking class! Almost every cooking class in Bangkok follows the same protocol, with fast shopping and industrial efficient with groups. This class with Mint and Nit is nothing like that. They take their time! For shopping at a local market, for preparing, for actual preparing and enjoying the dinner with them. No easy cooking, but really the style of mother Nit. And she knows how it's done! Also, a lot of explanation on the how and why. And you can choose dishes yourself, or they will decide if you up for some freewheeling. In the end: best class I had in a long time!

Khun Yai and her team were very organized, from the morning market visit where she explained how to select the different ingredients to the hands-on prep and cooking experience during the class. The cooking school was also very homey with different rooms for prep, wok cooking and dining. Khun Yai is not only a very experienced cook but a good communicator. Enjoyed the 5 dishes we learned to cook, and the bonus was a cookbook on the basic of Thai cooking.

We enjoyed the cooking class very much. Nam was a very good teacher, and we learned a lot and the food was very good. I would book it again and again. Thank you for that experience.

Before I also tried another cooking class in Bangkok but in comparison to this one it was just so plain. I registered for morning class, and we went to the market with our teacher Nam together. He’s very responsive and knowledgeable about everything in the market. Nam is really considerate and friendly, while cooking he also introduced us the alternatives for certain ingredients that are not so easy to find in where I live. The food turned out so good and I’m definitely going to try to recreate the dishes at home. Can only recommend this course!!

I really enjoyed the class. Nam was such a great teacher and chef. He talked to each one of us, give attention to each one of us and showed interest as well as knowledge of our country origin. The session was awesome and fun. We talked a lot, learned a lot and of course ate great food a lot. Silent moments were only when we were enjoying our food, it was so good that everyone keep digging on our own plate and forget our conversation. I highly recommend this class.

Our instructor was fun, energetic, accommodating of vegan needs, an excellent teacher and spoke great English. We had fun and learned a ton over the three hours. Highly recommended!

We had an awesome time during this Thai cooking experience and stay - I couldn't recommend it more. We learned so much from our host Pang and now have wonderful recipes to share our learnings with others back home. We cooked many delicious Thai dishes and got to experience a boat ride in the nearby canal, shop in a local market, and stay in a beautiful teakwood home. This Cookly experience was the highlight of our first trip to Thailand. If you are a foodie looking for a unique way to experience Thai life outside of the city, this tour is for you!

The dishes we cooked were simple and basic Thai cuisine, but Kim explained many things with her passion!!! That made the class so much fun and beautiful!!! Khoun Nam is an amazing teacher! He explained a lot of things to us at the market about how to choose every item (and about Thaï food & ingredients) and described every step while cooking. Everything we cooked had an authentic taste!

Mam welcomed us to her home and taught us to make the most delicious Thai staples. We loved the atmosphere, the dedication, and of course, the food! Probably the best pad thai and green curry we’ve ever tested. The whole experience exceeded our expectations by far. Highly recommend!

The Thai cooking class was great. The instructor, Leket, was full of energy and fun. We got to cook c4 dishes of our choice and it was very vegetarian friendly! And then, of course, we got to eat everything we made!

The teacher explained very carefully, and the assistant teacher was also eager to help me. The overall feeling was very pleasant and relaxing, and I really learned how to cook Thai food. I have really enjoyed the class.

Aey is a wonderful Chef. She picked us up at the MRT station and drove with us to the market. We went there our grocery for the cooking, it was a great experience seeing what locals buy and on what you should keep an eye on before buying. This is not just a cooking class, Aey teaches you about the flavors, rice, and food in general but also about the culture. There was no rush. We always had time to ask and get deep explaining so we understood what was going on. The food was outstanding! We loved every second of it! We've joined the morning class with a visit to the local market. Nam really took his time to passionately explain all the ingredients and adapted to me as a vegetarian as well. The preparation of the dishes was smooth and very well organized, the team was amazing! I really enjoyed making Thai food from scratch and discovering more ingredients and spices. In the end, we received all the recipes in a little book to cook at home. Highly recommend!

I would love to take another course to continue learning! We did it with three friends from Argentina who are living in Bangkok. How nice to continue learning more about the culture, the flavors, and the tastes of their dishes!

That was one of the greatest experiences during our stay in Bangkok. We had classes with Mrs. Chi Chi, a truly magical, charismatic, and charming person. We had so much fun! And the food was THE BEST!!!

Teacher Ant and Mint are so professional and cute. They help everyone to finish their own dishes which taste awesome. The part about visiting the market nearby in the morning class is really recommended. You can learn the ingredients of Thai food in person and have time to do a small shopping. Therefore, if your time is allowed, the morning class is the best choice.

Absolutely fabulous from start to finish. It packed half-a-day that was both interesting and entertaining, but most of all delicious! Nan was a fabulous guide around the market and teacher-chef and I was so pleased with how the dishes turned out, and will definitely be trying them at home. Abbiamo partecipato alla classe di cucina durante la mattina. La nostra insegnante è stata Nam, ed ha veramente reso l’esperienza perfetta. La prima parte si compone della spesa al mercato di quartiere, abbiamo adorato questa parte soprattutto l’entusiasmo di Nam nello spiegarci le cose. La secondo parte si svolge nella scuola, che è immersa nel quartiere e la sensazione è di essere a casa di un local. Abbiamo cucinato il Tom Yum, una zuppa pazzesca, il Pad Thai (non siamo più riusciti a mangiarne altri per quanto era buono!), il pollo al curry e mango e sticky rice. Tutto era buonissimo e Nam ci ha spiegato tutti gli ingredienti e le preparazioni nei più piccoli dettagli, facendoci entrare proprio all’interno delle ricette. È stato molto bello anche stare con il gruppo e condividere i pasti nel social table. Forse dalla recensione si capisce che siamo veramente molto contenti di aver partecipato 😁 Grazie ancora! I am so happy to find this cooking class on Cookly, and I would love to do it again the next time I come back to Thailand. I learned a lot in 4 hours and had fun cooking what was taught in the kitchen. We were introduced to the many lovely herbs used in Thai cooking. Now, I know the difference between each and their smell because the teacher let us handle, smell, break, & slice them - and cook them as well. Teacher Yai was so good because she taught us the complicated process in simple steps that even a first-time cook can do. So amazing indeed! Even I (who is a food enthusiast who knows my way in the kitchen) was amazed at myself after I was able to cook Chicken In Red Curry from scratch! Frankly, I booked this class in Silom because it is easy to find. But after the experience, I realized that I found a treasure full of wonderful things to experience one to last me for many years. So come, try this class, and experience it for yourself. Plus you get to explore a market and then ride a tuk-tuk too.

Well-organized, has great facilities, and is easy to follow. The other reviews I read about this were accurate and reflected our experience. There were a couple of young teenagers in our group and everyone kept up with no problem. The instructor was excellent and fun. The meals were so good. Best don’t eat before going.

I enjoyed everything about this cooking class. Everything about the venue & class had an aesthetic & rustic ambiance. I couldn't resist but take photos of the classroom & the ingredients that were prepared & laid out beautifully on the tables. We were divided into smaller groups, and our group was comprised of 5 other attendees, which was small enough & it gave the instructor space & time to answer our questions & teach us the correct methods. We cooked 6 recipes with a focus on pad thai, tom yum, and green curry. We also participated in preparing the som tam and learned the Thai way to make mango sticky rice. I personally think the pad thai & the tom yum we made in the class were two of the best ones I had during my trip to Bangkok. All ingredients used were premium (veggies all looked so fresh)! The instructor was very friendly & patient, and we left with a copy of the cookbook & a special Thai gift.

We were in the cooking class with my family of 5 and a Korean family of 3. Naem made it a great experience! We went to the market to buy ingredients and learned a lot about what to choose and why. The dishes were nice to prepare and cook and the taste was great. I definitely recommend this cooking school! Naem speaks very good English and has a great sense of humor.

This class was one of the highlights during our Bangkok trip. Gong was a fun and informative instructor and always made sure that everyone in the group was doing okay. It was fun to make new friends from France and Korea. The market tour was so nice and we took a Tuk Tuk to the cooking class venue. This was really nice because we were interested in the Tuk Tuks in town but hadn't tried yet being afraid of being ripped off. The food we made was the best Thai cuisine we ever had, way better than the restaurants. I think it has to do with the fresh ingredients straight from the market and the traditional way of cooking. I was there with my daughter, we spend a really good time, a lot of laughs and a lot of great food. Our chef was really concerned, also about the environment as we can see at the market. A great genuine insight into Thai cooking that has left leave a very great impression on me; it has me wanting to take more visitors to Thailand to this cooking school so I can repeat the experience. We’ve booked this cooking course as vegans as we wanted to experiment the rich Thai cuisine in a Plant based way. Little did we know, that Aoywaan is the sweetest and most gracious host that we’ve could imagined. She led us through markets, bought us fruits to try and even got us an iced coffee and coconut pancakes ☺️🙏. The cooking course was very interesting, well prepared, with a lot of taste for details, and we felt like in a real Thai kitchen. We were taken by a knowledgeable guide to a local market where we learned about the various ingredients we would be cooking with. Once everything was picked up, we returned to the kitchen where we learned how to make Green Curry paste, Green Curry, Tom Yum Soup, Pad Thai and Sticky rice with mango. The food was the best we had in Thailand thus far and makes you appreciate the impact of local ingredients. Would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone staying in Bangkok.

Met staff at appointed time and place and walked short journey to cooking school. Decided not to go to market as only two in class today… our choice. Right away, felt welcome and shown around. Had picked our dishes to be cooked, all ingredients explained and shown. One of us is experienced cook, one completely not at home in the kitchen. Cannot believe how easy and straightforward the teaching was, at a pace for both of us, and we both produced 5 fabulous dishes that were made to our own level of spicyness. Then we ate , or attempted to get through, all of our culinary delights. Cannot recommend this place enough. Clean, friendly, great fun. Get it booked.

I love to cook so I decided to take a Thai cooking class in Bangkok and I was attracted by the "localness" of this cooking class. Chef Aey was able to accommodate my last minute booking and I was surprised to find out that it would be a class with only me! She took me to her local market where I'm pretty sure I was the only non-local person there, explained all the different vegetables, fruits, meats and herbs. I didn't even know there were so many different types of "ginger". I was able to smell everything and understand why each ingredient is used in each dish. This class is much better than other cooking classes I've been to because it was in her humble home and she was such a gracious host, there also wasn't 10 other students and you actually get to cook and prepare your own food instead of pre-prepared steps by the chef. She took her time to explain how dishes are made and named... plus gave me some local desserts to try too! Everything I made also tasted so good! This was such an authentic experience which left me with a greater appreciation for cooking, Thai food and culture! I can't wait to make the dishes at home again.

Last week, my wife, 9yo daughter and I had the pleasure of attending this cooking class. We have done numerous Thai cooking classes, including expensive private one, this was easily the best cooking course we have done. Excellent instructors, market tour informative and the high quality ingredients and recipes resulted in amazing food to devour! Would highly recommend, we will be back.

Der Kochkurs bei Chef Aey war eine tolle Erfahrung. Wir haben bei Ihr sehr viel neues lernen können und man merkt, dass sie die Kurse mit sehr viel Herzblut macht. Sowohl beim Marktbesuch als auch beim Kochen selbst hat sie uns viel Hintergrundwissen mitgeben können. Durch ihre sympathische Art haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wir können einen Kochkurs bei ihr wärmstens empfehlen! Die Gerichte, die wir gekocht haben, waren wirklich lecker. Am besten bringt man auch genug Hunger mit, da die Gerichte in ordentlichen Portionen gekocht werden, was wir sehr positiv fanden.

We joined a private group class. The teacher was friendly and passionate, and she always keeps smile in her face. She introduced us different Thai ingredients and also some cooking techniques as well. The cook book was very informative too, all of us were very happy and enjoyed the class lots!

The day we spent at the Siamese Cookery House was simply great. The teacher was funny, charming as well as really good in Eglish and explaning her cooking skills. She answered every question with excitement and tought every cooking step with passion. Everything was well organised and prepared for us. No rush at all, nobody forced us to buy some extra products or anything. I highly recommend this cooking class for everyone!

My husband and I loved the whole experience, from shopping at the market, riding the tuk tuks and eating our own cooking creations. Nan was our teacher chef and she showed us how to buy quality ingredients at the market and prepare them for cooking. There was enough food for a meal. Loved that they had a different menu each day. Nan truly loves her job and cares for each of us. Very clean. Make sure to add this experience to your next stop in Bangkok.

Both the market tour and the cooking class were fantastic and educational for the fundamentals of Thai cooking. Chef Nam took her time explaining the layering of flavors that are integral to Thai cooking and showed us all that the local markets have to offer. She took the time to make sure we knew where we could stock up on ingredients and exactly what to look for. We were all blown away by the food and are eager to make more when we get home! We had a traditional thai cooking class yesterday. From the beggining until the end everything was perfect. The chef took us to the market first, which was a nice experience. After we took a tuk tuk trip to our school which was so instagrammy. There were 5 courses which we really liked! Small advice: come hungry, as this was a lot of food. :)

The food we made was delicious! Chef Aey and I went to the market to buy the majority of the produce fresh. Since I'm vegetarian, she adapted the entire menu to that and explained what I could substitute for the meat and fish ingredients in regular thai dishes. We made tom yum soup with mushrooms, pad thai with tofu, green curry with tofu and mango sticky rice. I can only recommend her class, as she mixes her knowledge of cooking with vast explanations of the ingredients. I am happy I joined this class 🤩

The format was unlike any other class bc everyone is cooking their own menu of choice! You’d think this would be cause for chaos but the school has perfected the timing and procedure of all of it, so class runs smoothly and efficiently! Everyone not only successfully and easily pulled off all their own dishes but we also got to tag team on pounding the curry paste which was fun! I liked how everything was preportioned on trays and we just focused on slicing/dicing all the ingredients and wok-ing.

Nam greeted our group at a central subway station and from the first moment made everyone comfortable and excited to be there. The market tour was wondrous, and Nam showed us the best way to choose ingredients, pointed out new and Interesting products, and kept the tour fun and efficient. We then went back to her house, where everything was perfectly organized and set up for us to learn, prepare and enjoy 4 traditional Thai dishes. Her engaging humor (spoken in excellent English) coupled with insightful tips and facts about Ingradients and dishes made the afternoon go quickly and most of us didn't want it to end. Each of the 4 dishes we prepared and ate were outstanding! We were almost too full to bother with dinner later that day. We would highly recommend this addition to any Bangkok itinerary.

The staff was excellent. Quality supplies, and helpful teacher. They had a support staff to make sure everything was perfect. The food was actually incredible, and not only did we learn a lot, we left full.

What an experience! The teachers were professional, fun and very helpful. The class was well organized with good demonstration and individual hands-on experience. Food and menu was fantastic- appetizer, entre and dessert. All the dishes were delicious and plentiful. I had a terrific experience- watching good demos and preparing authentic Thai cuisine. I am sure I will be preparing all the recipes in the souvenir book. Beyond expectation! Thank you

The mini tour of the market was nice... learning about the difference between the shrimp and chickens. But the class was done so well! The beautiful presentation of ingredients and the constant flow from class room to cooking...it was great! And our instructor Ju...she was funny but had so much great information too! We would recommend a class with Silom to everyone!

I love Thai food and I have attended several cooking classes before. Cooking with Poo and friends is simply the best. Due to the charming and inspiring character of chef Poo, one not only learns a lot about Thai ingredients and spices but also what people can achieve when living their dreams like Poo. Also a big thank to Cookly- you helped me to meet my class after I run late due to the incomparable Bangkok traffic.

This was the third cooking class I attended in Thailand and it was simply excellent. I had been afraid that I wouldn’t learn a lot of new things but the contrary was the case. It was also a lot of fun! We were picked up by Goong and Nam and went to the most amazing market. That alone made the class worthwhile. But on top of that Goong was full of knowledge about culture and cooking and her sparkling and funny nature made it a sheer joy to listen to her. The cooking instructions were easy to understand and backed up with loads of background knowledge. The quality of the food was fantastic. I can’t recommend this class enough! Thank you for a fantastic time! I’ll be back for sure.

Overall a really fun morning! Great food, lovely atmosphere, easy and accessible for all. Combination of watching demonstrations and some simple instructions to follow. I really enjoyed the short stroll to the market - would have loved to spend more time there. You eat each dish as you make it so it’s essentially a whole morning of eating! Great way to spend a few hours in Bangkok

Our family of 5 (including 3 kids ages 9 to 14) booked a group cooking class for the final day of our holiday and I can honestly say this was the highlight of our entire 3-week Thailand trip for everyone. Nam was warm, funny and a brilliant teacher. The market trip was a highlight and the pace and variety of the class worked perfectly for our varied group. We had originally wanted to book a private class as we didn’t want our kids to spoil anyone else’s experience but as this wasn’t available, we booked the group session. I’m so pleased we did - the other guests were lovely and interesting and just added to our experience. Each dish was delicious, we learned so much and even our very teenage 14-year old son was completely engaged from start to finish. He is now a convert to cooking and enthusiastically talking about what he is going to make for us when we get home. The house is beautiful and a real experience of authentic, residential Bangkok. All-in-all an experience of a lifetime: thank you so much Nam and all at Bangkok cookery house.

This class far exceeded our expectations. What was different about this class from others I've taken is that I learned not only how to cook Thai food, but I learned about the difference between ingredients, what taste each ingredient adds, techniques for cooking, AND how to add garnish and enhance presentation. The cookbook has so much more detail than I expected. I now appreciate that by cooking only 4 dishes in 5 hours, what I gained was skills and education on Thai cooking, not just a cooking experience. Ant has to take a lot of credit for that. She's a marvelous instructor. I highly recommend this class!

This market tour and cooking class was very professionally run and our head chef Helen made everything fun. We learned so much about Thai food and how it’s made and were feasting on so many dishes, we felt full and satisfied when we left. Thank you for an enjoyable morning.

The instructor was informative and truly passionate about teaching us about Thai ingredients and cooking techniques! She was engaging, had a great sense of humor and kept the class moving safely through all the techniques she demonstrated which we then we practiced. The food was delicious and we enjoyed the class thoroughly! We will take other classes soon to become more familiar with Thai cooking in such a pleasant and welcoming environment.

I cannot express the amount of detail and education that is shared in your Thai Cuisine cooking class. Everything is taught on a traditional culture level and not a textbook. My Chef Professor “Nancy” is a delight to be around, with a tremendous personality and great humor. She teaches on a high level of expertise and explained everything thoroughly and made sure all questions are answered as well as understood. University level English with great communication. It was obvious that her entire class was made to feel this way. Highly recommend this cooking school and if Nancy’s class is not full, your lucky, reserve and Take It! Morning class includes a bonus of local Market shopping with more education. They also offer different menus so you can take multiple classes and improve your education in Thai food. 👍👍🇹🇭

If you're looking for a truly immersive cultural experience with people who deeply care for their craft and their culture then you can stop searching now. Nam met our group of 5 at an easy to find location near a beautiful authentic market. We walked through the stalls picking up this and that ingredients, amazing things I never would have touched or smelled if it wasn't for her guidance. Next we went took a 5 minute Tuk Tuk ride with our fresh ingredients to their home which was laid out beautifully for our group with a prep area, a cooking area with many wok's and stoves and finally a stunning dining area. We cooked and chatted and ate for the next 3 hours. All departed with big smiles and full bellies. Highly recommended!!

I had a good experience cooking with the Bangkok Thai Cooking Academy. The instructor was nice and thorough, and I loved the ability to customize your meal based on your preferences. When you first start, you meet outside of an MRT station, and walk through a traditional market where the guide will talk you through all the essential ingredients for Thai cooking. In the end, you get to enjoy the delicious meal you cooked with your peers. Will recommend to anyone looking to learn Thai dishes!

I highly recommend taking cooking classes here. We met at Huai Khwang MRT station and walked to the market together. Nam explained how to get the best ingredients for Thai dishes. Then we drove to the cooking school in TukTuks. We made Tom Yum Goong, Pad Thai, Panaeng Curry and Mango Sticky Rice. Everything was well organised. Nam showed us step by step how to cook the dishes. She speaks English perfectly and is very humorous and talented. I recommend to not eat before taking this class as you will be eating all the dishes. But if you‘re full before, Nam can give you boxes to take the food home.

We were a group of 4 that attended the class. All of us had a great time. The cooking school brought the market to the cooking class which we appreciated as we had been sightseeing all morning. They explained the various ingredients which was very interesting and then we went on to cooking. All the dishes were fun and relatively easy to make and they tasted very good. We were absolutely stuffed at the end. The entire class was VERY well organized, structured and executed. There was no wasted time. The school team was constantly bringing ingredients, cleaning up, resetting for the next dish. A great experience all around and definitely highly recommend it.

I took the class with my mum and sister and we loved it. It was the best part of our holiday in Bangkok. Pimmy was excellent, she had simple and clear explanations and we loved how she was able to make cooking easier and fun to learn. I also really appreciated her notes on similar products you can get in your home country so your able to replicate the recipes back home. The class was also small and intimate, we were 5 in total for the afternoon class and we really enjoyed meeting other people and just learning from each other and enjoying our appreciation for Thai cuisine. A must do when your in Bangkok

My team did a cooking class with Nam as our team-building event. We expected it to be a good learning class but boy, we did not expect it to be so much fun! Nam is so funny and cracked so much jokes that we were having so much fun while having to "toil away". We took the afternoon class and so weren't expecting a market tour so we were really surprised that she took us on a very informative market tour and send us back on Tuk-tuks. We learnt a lot and really enjoyed the food that we cooked, and most importantly, really enjoyed ourselves.

Our family had a private class and we all enjoyed it. Our teacher Goong was amazing, she was so kind and a great chef and the food she helped us prepare was SO delicious. Our 3 daughters, where the youngest is 10 years, also enjoyed it very much and thought this class was the best thing we did on our vacation. Goong was really patient and helpful and so nice to the children and all our daughters just loved her from the beginning. She speaks good English, so the communication was also easy. The surroundings was authentic Thai and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. We cannot thank you enough for this great experience.

From start to finish, this class was amazing. Our chef/instructor, Nam, took us to the market to pick out some of our ingredients and she was SO sweet and knowledgeable and was able to teach us so many interesting things about the local foods. After that, she helped us prepare 4 amazing dishes. I couldn’t recommend this class more for anyone who is interested in eating/cooking delicious authentic Thai cuisine.

Pimmy has successfully simplified Thai cooking for me. She was very helpful in explaining the pantry essentials and the fresh ingredients needed to recreate your favourite dishes at home She was also patient in explaining and sharing her cooking secrets and skills Highly recommended!

The cook was VERY good at telling and explainings things. She was nice, competente and her english was good. The place was lovely and clean. There was a helper to provide things, so the participants could focus on the important about learning to cook thai food. I can highly recomment this place.

Every dish here will be done the traditional way, by hand, from scratch. We've been cooking Thai food for years, but this experience changed our entire approach. I highly recommend this class!

This was by far the best cooking experience we’ve ever had (and we’ve had a few)! The two chefs were extremely nice, funny and professional. It felt like spending a wonderful cooking day with friends. The food we prepared was over the moon, I had the best soup of all time. If you’re in any doubt, which of the hundreds courses to chose in Bangkok - chose them! Nam and Gung - thank you very much for this wonderful day we had together!

The class is perfectly organized. The cooking professor (Phai) was great, very friendly and giving precise information about how to do the recipe. The visit of the small market is quick but very interesting to understand how some ingredients are done. I will recommend Somphong Thai Cooking class to all my friends visiting Bangkok.

Meine Tochter (10) und ich hatten einen super Nachmittag mit Pim. Alle Zutaten, Arbeitsschritte wurden uns ausführlich erklärt. Pin macht das auf eine lockere und lustige Art. Jeder Teilnehmer konnte selbst entscheiden, wie scharf sein Gericht sein soll oder Zutaten weglassen. Die selbst zubereiteten Gerichte wurden zusammen gegessen. Im Anschluss haben wir alle Rezepte zum Download bekommen. Würden es jederzeit wieder machen.
