Inari (Tofu Pocket) Sushi Making Experience in Central Kyoto

課程介紹

You can learn Western Japanese style dishes through this 1.5-hour cooking class at a very convenient location in central Kyoto. During the lesson, you will learn homemade, traditional technique of Japanese cooking. Inari sushi is a kind of sushi but is very different from the normal one. It has a unique history deeply involved in people's lives. 

The instructor will not only teach you how to cook but also introduce you Japanese culture and history which in inseparable from Japanese dishes. Finish your culinary tour enjoying your creation comes with 5 different kinds of Japanese distilled spirits "Shochu". The lesson will be about 60 minutes and lunch time will be about 30 minutes. Vegetarian option available!

In this lesson, you will learn how to extract "Dashi" broth which is fundamental for Japanese dishes especially for the Western area of Japan. Using this unique soup stock, you will make 

• Inari Sushi
• Miso Soup 
• Japanese omelet 
• Marinated vegetable

• 12:00 pm: Meet the instructor at cooking studio and start cooking
• 1:00 pm: Lunch and Shochu (Japanese distilled liquor) tasting time
• 1:30 pm: End of cooking class
