Join me, Kelly, from The Hellenic Odyssey, a Greek home cook with a proud heritage, as we come together to enjoy a generous spread of food and to learn about the Mediterranean diet, its origins and its benefits. My family originates from the largest Greek island in Greece, Crete. Crete is most known for its top quality produce, fresh seasonal ingredients, its warm and welcoming people, its hospitality and its amazing varying landscapes. Growing up in a Greek family home and travelling to Greece frequently, Greek food and travel has been a major part of my life. Learning to cook from a young age and having a keen interest to learn, inspired me to set up cooking classes and food tours that focus specifically on Greek food. Now I am especially excited to create dining experiences and share my love of Greek food, the Mediterranean diet and Greek culture with others who are interested in learning and experiencing new flavours and aromas.
