I had a great experience cooking at The Hidden Hanoi. I was cooking the Monsoon sets, the recipes were easy to follow and the food was a home-cook style which is what I really like. Booking through Cookly was easy and many options to choose from. They team is very communicative and responds to my questions quickly. Will be back again next time :)

We picked this class for its customizable menu. We were not disappointed. The vegetarian/vegan menu was absolutely astounding, and completely different than any other menu we’ve ever seen. We’re not vegetarians, but wanted to learn about the vegetable dishes Vietnamese people enjoy. Very good decision. Thank you for the amazing day Anh!

What a great time at the Hidden Hanoi cooking class. Nikita was an outstanding teacher, filling us in on little “tricks of the trade” to complete our super pho recipe. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and wondered where the time went. It’s a real “hands on” approach with a lot of insight from Nikita. Thank you so much for a wonderful class. If you are in Hanoi, dont miss the chance to take this cooking class. My fiance and I took this class not because do not know how to cook but because we wanted to experience something new. My fiance owns a small restaurant back home and even though we both know how to cook, this cooking class was able to teach us new interesting techniques and style in cooking. Our day started with a market. The guide took us to the shop where they know almost everyone there. Then we went to their kitchen to cook. They class consisted of different tourists as well. They were all very friendly, the staff was accommodating too. It was interactive and informative at the same time.

We had a fabulous time learning how to cook Vietnamese Streetfood. Nikita was very knowledgeable and engaging. The food we cooked was absolutely delicious!! Would recommend to anyone interested in learning about Vietnamese cuisine, and how to cook in an authentic way!

It was a good moment. Van explained us all Vietnamese product during the market. The course was really interesting and well explained. The monsoon menu is delicious !

We really loved the class! Our chef Van was the best! She took us to the local market and told us so many interesting things about the fruits/vegetables/herbs/... that Vietnamese use when cooking, about their way of life ... we've learned so much! Now we understand their culture more. She also knows so much about preparing food! We've made some really tasty dishes (also vegetarian options for me!), she gave us great directions and let us do all the cooking. Because that's the best way to learn!The entire team was so kind and amazing! We've been in Vietnam for 4 weeks ... and this was the perfect ending to our trip. The person who lead he class was really friendly and gave us loads of tips on what places to eat in Hanoi. We got to take the recipes home afterward and a gift bag to boot. I would definitely recommend this to more people. Great way to try something new on holiday!

After I've finished this cooking class, Pho becomes my favorite Vietnamese dish. It was so good with its herbal smell of the soup. The cooking class itself was excellent as it help me gain a better understanding of the people, culture and food! It is a perfect choice for those who looking for interesting activity to do in Hanoi.

We started a day with interesting market tour. Our guide took us to the shop where she knew every one there. Then we went back to cook. It was the most interactive and informative cooking class we have ever done. The most enjoyable part was when we got to chop, mix and put all ingredients together by ourselves differently from most classes which tend to be more demonstrations than teaching. The food came out incredible good and beautiful. It was such a wonderful day at Hidden Hanoi.

We are young teenagers traveling around Vietnam. We have strong passion for traveling and food which makes us desire to learn something about Vietnamese cuisine. We enjoyed the market tour where the tour guide showed us all the secrets about best way to get good ingredients for a perfect meal. Our teacher was super nice to answer our questions. We would definitely will come back here sometimes and will recommend to our friends.

We went to half day market tour. AMAZING!! It was really fascinating to experience with a local. The staff is superb friendly, helpful with excellent English skills. The cooking was fun with great conversation about Vietnamese culture. Plus, the meal was actually one of the best part of our entire trip. I could say this is a must to explore a genuine Vietnamese experience.

We did the local market tour. The most interesting and exciting part is that we get to learn and taste all those herbs for the food. The chef is informative and extremely friendly. The food taste so good, we love it a lot. Before we left, we also got the recipe of the food we made from them. It was very kind of them. We are very impressed. We are definitely recommend this place if you are in Hanoi.
