At ran Hotei, a historic machiya (townhouse) in Kyoto’s central district, a renowned tea master offers an authentic tea experience. Enjoy the ryurei style, where tables and chairs provide comfort while preserving tradition.
Soei Sensei, author of The Book of Chanoyu Tea, has taught tea for nearly 30 years. Join him to explore the timeless ideals of Harmony, Respect, Purity & Tranquility—a highlight of your Kyoto journey!
