課程介紹

Meet at street floor of BTS Asoke Exit 3 and MRT Sukhumvit Exit 3 (or you can pin to "Hey! Coffee MRT Sukhumvit" our meeting point) to discover the nearby market with a guided tour available for the morning class, where you will browse for the freshest ingredients to make your authentic Thai dishes. (There will be "Mango Carving" instead of a market tour for the afternoon and the evening class, the introduction to ingredients will be taken place at House of Taste Thai Cooking School in Sukhumvit 4)

Learn about various exotic Thai ingredients, including vegetables, rice, herbs, and spices, as well as the preparation of coconut milk and curry paste from scratch. Spend two hours making four delicious dishes, and savor each one individually while they're still hot and fresh. Get your hands dirty by making the curry paste from scratch, and take home all recipes with you so you can recreate the gastronomic experience again in the future.

Morning Class

8:30 am: Meet at the first floor of BTS Asoke Exit 3 and MRT Sukhumvit Exit 3 to discover the nearby market with a guided tour.
8:40 am: Explore the local market, shop for fresh ingredients, then return to cooking school.
9:15 am: Introduction to vegetables, rice, and herbs. Make coconut milk and sticky rice.
10:00 am: Session 1 (soup/stir-fried) and enjoy your dish
10:30 am: Session 2 (salad) and enjoy your dish
11:00 am: Session 3 (curry) and enjoy your dish (Make the curry paste from scratch)
11:30 am: Session 4 (dessert) and enjoy your dish
12:00 pm: The class ends at the cooking class.

Afternoon Class

1:00 pm: Meet at House of Taste Thai Cooking School in Sukhumvit 4
1:10 pm: Introduction to vegetables, rice, and herbs. Make coconut milk and sticky rice.
2:00 pm: Session 1 (soup/stir-fried) and enjoy your dish
2:30 pm: Session 2 (salad) and enjoy your dish
3:00 pm: Session 3 (curry) and enjoy your dish (Make the curry paste from scratch)

4:30 pm: The class ends at the cooking class.

Evening Class

5:30 pm: Meet at House of Taste Thai Cooking School in Sukhumvit 4
5:40 pm: Introduction to vegetables, rice, and herbs. Make coconut milk and sticky rice.
6:30 pm: Session 1 (soup/stir-fried) and enjoy your dish
7:00 pm: Session 2 (salad) and enjoy your dish
7:30 pm: Session 3 (curry) and enjoy your dish (Make the curry paste from scratch)
8:00 pm: Session 4 (dessert) mango carving and enjoy your dish
9:00 pm: The class ends at the cooking class

We can provide substitute ingredients for vegetarian, halal, kosher, and allergic people.

Note:

The market tour is available only for the morning class, while the afternoon and evening classes will feature mango carving instead.

The four hours flew by, and both the cooking demonstrations and the actual cooking were tremendous fun. The atmosphere in the class was great, thanks to our cooking instructors. It's a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend it to everyone, especially here.

Well organised, the whole day worked like clockwork. Teacher April maintained a helpful and humorous approach for the whole four hours. Her explanations for both prepping and cooking were crystal clear and the results were astonishingly good. That from me, someone who can make a mess of feeding the cat! The market trip provided background to ingredients. The choice of dishes was excellent and the results inspired confidence in those attending. The dishes change throughout the week. I will most likely attend a second day to increase my repertoire. A fun and rewarding day all round!
