In this course, you will learn not only how to make Tempura also make traditional Japanese Dashi (soup stock) which supports wide variety of Japanese dishes!

• Step 1: Learn about the history of Tempura and Japanese food culture
• Step 2: Learn about how to make traditional Japanese stock and flavor for "tempura dipping sauce" and for "soup".
• Step 3: Try "KAZARI-GIRI" to decorate your soup bowl
• Step 4: Making Namasu (pickled veggie salad)
• Step 5: Making Tempura
• Step 6: Place the dishes, along with chopsticks.

Let’s say “Itadakimasu”, then enjoy eating!

Tempura Course Menu:

• Tempura: Vegetables (5), Fish (3), Kakiage (1)
• Namasu (pickled veggie salad)
• Clear Soup

*served with chilled Tofu, dessert

Lunch class:

• 11:20 am: Meet at Corowa Koshien
• 11:30 am: Start class
• 11:35 am: Watch short video then start cooking
• 11:40 am: Japanese stock, clear soup and dipping sauce
• 11:00 pm: Pickled veggie salad
• 12:15 pm: Prepare tempura butter and the ingredients of tempura
• 12:45 pm: Fry 9 kinds of tempura
• 1:15 pm: Tasting
• 2:00 pm: End of the cooking class

Dinner class:

• 5:20 pm: Meet at Corowa Koshien
• 5:30 pm: Start class
• 5:35 pm: Watch short video then start cooking
• 5:40 pm: Japanese stock, clear soup and dipping sauce
• 6:00 pm: Pickled veggie salad
• 6:15 pm: Prepare tempura butter and the ingredients of tempura
• 6:45 pm: Fry 9 kinds of tempura
• 7:15 pm: Tasting
• 8:00 pm: End of the cooking class
