5:15pm: Arrival at Honeymoon Guesthouse.

5:30p: Introduction to Balinese spices and local ingredients.

6:30 pm: Cooking of the smoked duck begins.

7:30 pm: A smoked duck feast is served.

8:30 pm: Dessert is served with Balinese coffee or tea.

9:00 pm: End of class.

"Informative, creative, and fun!"

The roast duck ceremony cooking class is a must-do! Knowledgeable, humorous, and creative teacher and staff. I learned about herbs, spices, and roots for all the marinades plus how to roast the duck Balinese style, with approachable adaptations for Western chefs. The best traditional meal I have eaten during my 1-month stay.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the Sunday twighlight smoked duck class. I enjoyed learning about herbs and spices and the techniques used to create a ceremonial meal. The evening was filled with good company delicious food and fun and laughter. Highly recommend.
