We joined Annie's class as a family, and it was a highlight of our stay in Trang. Annie picked us up at our hotel then we got delicious coffee and walked through the market talking about the food and the area. Driving the short distance to her rural home highlighted the peaceful beauty of the Trang area and under her trees the sheltered kitchen was shady and breezy and filled with tropical plants and flowers. Annie and her family were so welcoming and generous and lovely to spend a morning with. Delicious food was made and eaten, we had a great time, and we're inspired to make southern Thai dishes back at home in Canada. Thank you, Annie!
We really appreciated the small class size. There was just myself, my wife and Annie. It made the experience more personal, and we gained some understanding of southern Thai culture. We shopped together in the local street markets, and then created a fabulous meal under Annie’s direction. It was a lot of fun, and we would highly recommend it to anyone.
Annie met us at our hotel and took us to the market to gather the necessary ingredients for our cooking session. Our day in the jungle, where her home is located, was incredible. We mastered the art of preparing a local dish. In the end, we received all the photos and recipes from our experience.
Our stay at Annie's was truly delightful. The garden studio provided a wonderful setting, and the southern Thai cuisine was exceptional. Annie and her husband made excellent company. Having never participated in a cooking class before, I was unsure of what to anticipate. However, the experience exceeded all expectations and proved to be memorable.
