The Bamboo Experience

We had a great day. We discovered the different uses of bamboo, cooked and had a great time with the family. We highly recommend this activity. The people are welcoming and attentive.

It was great! Very war, knowledgeable and unique experience with an aspect of, craft and cuisine combined together. It was nice to hear how those in the community were kept involved for a genuinely authentic and down to earth experience.

We both very enjoyed learning how bamboo plays as a vital part of Lao life from its practical uses in the home to how it is used in cooking. The local cuisine is unbelievable delicious. Amazing experience, so I would suggest to add this to your list in Luang Prabang.

I went to the Bamboo Experience and I definitely recommend this activity. You will learn a lot of things about bamboo and take part into several activities together with eating the delicious food that were prepared by yourself. The team is really nice and friendly.

At The Bamboo Experience we learned the traditional Thai dish which are very different from the food I usually have. The place their was very nice all built with bamboo. We enjoyed that evening very much. Yummy local food with joyful people surrounded.

We visited Bamboo Experience and had an amazing hands on cooking. We made a few dishes such as Sticky Rice dessert cooked in bamboo. We had a lovely lunch & played bamboo related games. Best morning in Luang Prabang.

Everyone is very good at their jobs and make it easy for us. My friend and I had a lot of fun with many different activities. We really enjoyed the new things we learned about Laos dishes, bamboo, playing new games.

I was very amazed that I can experience the traditional cooking class in my trip to Laos. The recipe is tasty and the steps of food process are easy to follow. The staffs there is very funny and joyful. We even sand and danced together.

We loved this experience. The staff was very nice and the food was quite different and yummy. Everything about this experience was fantastic because I learned so much from his class. You will not regret it if you join the class.
