The chefs were accommodating to our dietary restrictions (vegan) and they've created not only an insightful experience but mostly a fun one! They are very knowledgeable about all things pasta and have answered all our questions. Best pasta I've had, highly recommended!

This class was the highlight of our trip to rome. They went above and beyond our expectations, we learned so much and had so much fun doing it. They accommodated our dietary needs and gave everyone in the Class time with each person to help teach us all the best way to make pasta.

This was such an amazing experience on so many levels. I learned how to make pasta and got the chef's recipe for out of this world sauce that has only three ingredients! The chef was great with kids. My daughter lacks confidence and the chef kept showing her that she could make pasta. She was so proud in the end. I also love that we were taught by someone that knows cooking inside and out. He explained the chemistry to us. I've been making pasta wrong all these years and now know the right times and temperatures. Really it was worth it for the tips, for the confidence boost to my daughter, and for the authentic Roman experience.
We decided to book the class on a whim and were both absolute beginners. I'm vegan and my partner isn't. Emanuele and his team made us feel welcome and were such great teachers. They gave everyone the exact right amount of time and attention to make sure they got it right. They accommodated me perfectly so I felt included making my no egg pasta. The group is ten people and you make one dough but different shapes. They show the sauces but you don't make them. It was also a lot more fun than I thought, with music and prosecco. In the end they made sure we got home ok and were just so lovely and sound. I'd do it again if I could! Don't book this class if you hate fun.
The cooking class was great! Emanuele had so much fun teaching us everything - you can feel that he is passionate about cooking. The location was super nice, the group size perfect. We can absolutely recommend the course!
We were a little group of 8. The cooking was so much fun. Emanuelle is a great teacher. We stayed 6 days in rome and did many things but this was the best.
My 13 year old daughter and I had so much fun. This is also one of the only cooking classes I found that you can fully participate in even if your need to be gluten free. The instructor was super kind, encouraging and funny and the whole group seemed to have a lovely time. The results were delicious.
We had an amazing time with Chef Emanuele Faini. His Pastificio is super cute and cozy and the recipes were full of love. He was super engaging and fun — making sure he spent time with every one there and connecting the group with each other. He had great music and wine and it was super easy to follow his instructions. No one in our group had made pasta before and everything turned out deliciously. After making the pasta, we all ate our creations and enjoyed wine together. It was a fun and light-hearted meal. I loved the personal stories he shared and felt his passion for making and teaching pasta. It was a highlight of our trip and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a unique and fun experience. I also eat vegan and he was able to accommodate my dietary needs. The vegan pasta was so delicious. Additionally, I appreciated his covid safety checks and ensuring a safe place for everyone.
Wonderful class & experience with Chef Emanuele. He really took his time to make sure we understood the pasta making process and we were actually involved in it from start to finish! Atmosphere was great and it was evident that a lot of thought was put into this class. He even made it very easy for me and other people in the class to still make delicious pasta that was vegan!
We loved our class with Emanuelle. He is very kind and extremely accommodating. I am gluten free, and he catered the pasta course to meet my needs and I was able to make gluten free pasta along with everyone else. He cooked my pasta separately to make sure there wasn't any cross contamination and it was delicious! The pasta was so fresh and Emanuelle made it so easy to learn and do. A great class - very personable and fun!
Emanuele is an amazing host who makes you feel home in his Pastifico. I had a fantastic cooking class with him as I did not only enjoy making how to make pasta but learn interesting things about Italian cuisine. The place looks super cute, is clean to the spot and stylish furnished which is really nice. The pasta we made was the best I tried in Rome so far. I highly recommend this class to everyone who loves cooking and Italian food, let’s face it: who doesn’t.

We had such an amazing evening at this class, the most memorable experience of our entire trip! The host and staff were so welcoming, made everyone feel at ease and made the experience so much fun! I was a little apprehensive taking this class as a vegan however they were so accomodating and I was able to make alternatives of everything that the rest of the class made! Someone in our group was gluten free and they were again accomodating of this in the same way. The meal at the end of the class was amazing, everything turned out great and it was great to sit down and get to know everyone in the class and the host a little more over a few drinks! I cannot recommend this class enough!
A good experience of pasta lesson. A good human and cultural moment. Every moment shared with all the people from the word. The teacher Emmanuele try to make us as confortable as possible. Nous avons passé une agréable soirée à cuisiner puis déguster nos préparations. Emanuele est formidable. Il nous communique son savoir culinaire avec beaucoup de facilité. Il simplifie et vulgarise les techniques culinaire. Rien de tel qu’un vrai cours où l’on puisse être orienté, conseillé par un vrai professionnel. Tout le matériel mis à disposition est de qualité et nous permet de nous rendre compte qu’il ne faut pas grand chose pour réussir de très bonnes pâtes. La seconde partie de soirée nous a permis de déguster les réalisations de chacun et de faire plus ample connaissances avec Emanuele. Découverte de bons vins et une note finale sucrée qui vient clore la soirée. Un grand Merci au second de cuisine qui a œuvré très discrètement tout au long de la soirée mais aussi pour sa gentillesse. Tout bon chef n’est rien sans lui. Bref une expérience à vivre. Vous pouviez y aller sans crainte.

The chef is very kind. He makes pasta well and speaks English well. I am worried because I am not good at English, but the chef is kind and easy to explain. We loved this class! Emanuele was wonderful!! Friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, he was amazing. We enjoyed learning about different pasta techniques, ways to make fillings, meeting new people, and sharing a meal together. It was a wonderful way to spend the day!

Emanuele is a kind and patient teacher, willing to share family recipes. Highly recommended. Even if I had only one day in Rome, I would do this. Those who had to stay at home will also be very happy once they get a taste! ;)
The chef made it easy to follow for someone who has never made pasta before... but it was the way class was presented which was the most enjoyable part - lots of laughs and fun with no cleaning! Then the best part - eating the food that you have made!

I would definitely recommend this class. Emmanuel who taught it was very passionate and knowledgeable about pasta. He is a competent hands on teacher. He took us through the making of the pasta step by step. He taught us how to make pasta in the traditional way without a machine as well as teaching us how to make ravioli and allowing us to make our own fillings with the ingredients given. Following the course we got to taste the fruits of our labour. Whilst the course is 3 hours the time went very quickly and it was a very enjoyable experience. Emmanuel was a great host. He took great pride in his work and his success which having attended one of his classes is much deserved!
This was the best thing we did our entire Europe trip. The chef was extremely friendly and truly wanted people to learn how to make pasta. He went above and beyond when serving our finished pasta. We even got dessert, wine and limoncello. By far worth the price. YOU HAVE TO DO THIS!!!!

This was my first cooking class and it was interesting to learn to cook the food I love. Emmanuel's class is organized and systematic. We learn then we do. When we need help he is around to guide us and give us more tips and advice. The food turned out beautifully and we enjoyed the food and wine after the class. We love the dessert he made for us. Emanuele was amazing! He made it so fun and we actually learned so much! The food was amazing and after we finished making pasta, sat down and enjoyed some wine and our creations! Loved the small group atmosphere and the authenticity!
I was looking for a class that would focus on pasta making (because I was in Italy of course!) and this class was exactly what I was looking for! We learned how to make different types of pasta (fettuccine, tortellini, ravioli) and sauces. Close to Roma Termini Station, we each had our own clean workstations, and the environment was very inviting. We were a class of 6 english speaking tourists (max 8 in a class) but the owner Emanuele made us feel right at home. He was an excellent teacher and taught us about the proper ingredients and technique to use just like his nonna taught him. He is so passionate about the class and it made the entire experience so much fun! I would definitely recommend this class to anyone who is genuinely interested in handmade pasta. I was able to go home and make pasta from scratch for my friends! Belissimo!

Let me start off by saying that my husband is the chef in our house. He loves to taking cooking classes, and I usually go along mainly to eat the food at the end. Usually I sit and watch, but don't expect to cook anything amazing because I might be considered one of America's worst cooks. But let me tell you, Emanuele Faini is one of the best cooking instructors I have ever met! He made this class so much fun, and made the cooking process so easy that even I made something delicious...and that is saying a lot. I actually got a little emotional when I tasted my food because I had never made anything taste so good! If you are looking for something to do in Rome outside of the normal sight seeing, this is a great experience!
This class was one of the highlights of the trip for me and my wife. We were delighted we each had our own station and made pasta/ravioli from start to finish! Emanuele was a great teacher and made sure we were on the right track. This class was much more rewarding - rather than other classes that give you a small part of the cooking process.
Loved that all 10 people in the class got their own stations to cook at. Emanuele was a wonderful teacher; he is knowledgeable, funny and really positive! I think we can definitely make fresh pasta at home now. Highly recommend this class.
La formule en 3 heures est très bien avec tous les principes de la pâte italienne appris et déjà on sent la différence à la maison ! Nous aurions bien voulu faire nous même la sauce tomate (même si c'est facile à faire), mais aucun regret. Dommage que la formule soit unique, on aurait bien appris à cuisiner d'autres spécialités italiennes avec Emanuele et Fransesca !
The teacher and his assistant were absolutely amazing, great experience -highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn how to make real pasta. The dinner afterwards was so fun, was the highlight of our trip to Rome.

Such a memorable experience. He was knowledgeable, attentive, supportive, encouraging and generous. We were all given our own workbench which was great, meaning that we all got to make our own pasta which we eventually shared. This is in comparison to other classes we've taken where one joint meal is made and participants share roles in its creation. Once you hand role your pasta, you have a meal with the small group and it was really nice hearing about why everyone was in Rome, along with hearing the tips and tricks of not only Italian pasta making by our amazing chef, but also his take on Rome itself. I loved this class! I have taken several cooking classes and this was one of the best. The teacher was very helpful and I really learned a lot. Each of us made two different types of pasta and learned how to make 2 sauces. He also had for purchase items needed to make the pasta at a very affordable price. This is a not to be missed experience!!!
What a way to get to learn how to make authentic Italian Pasta from one of the best in the business. Our small class size meant that we got quality time with Emanuele and learned some tips of the trade. Emanuele's energy and attention to detail were evident in his class but also the kitchen and dining space. It was an amazing evening and experience!!! Meeting Emanuele on a Friday evening in his very nice pasta shop (pastificio) was a wonderful start for our trip to Rome. He has welcomed us like friends. The table for the dinner was already prepared as well as the well-equipped kitchen. Emanuele was a wonderful teacher, respectful, very charming and smart.
