In my historic venue in the heart of Venice, enjoy a vegetarian or vegan cooking class using fresh, local vegetables from the vibrant Venetian markets.
Join me to shop at the famous Rialto Market (or opt for a cooking-only class), and then return to prepare a variety of fresh, healthy dishes. We’ll taste homemade wine, make pasta, focaccia, and countless other flavorful creations. I use only local, seasonal vegetables and customize each cooking class based on your preferences. My father will take care of bringing us the wine from our vineyards!
My home is open to you—step beyond the usual tourist paths and savor the freshness of Venice. We’ll share laughs, good food, and great wine.

"Unlimited wine cooking class with a Sailor!"
Outstanding experience!! We will likely do this again the next time we are in Venice. Fun class, great instructor and delicious food. Great the visit at the market, really good homemade wine. Max prepare for us a Taylor made cooking class

"More than a normal cooking class!"
We had an amazing tour filled with flavors from the Venice region! From savory dishes to a wonderful dessert. From the high mountains of the Dolomites (with amazing cheese!) to fresh fish bought at the Rialto Market. Massimo taught us how to make fresh pasta, as well as focaccia—an incredible type of pizza/bread. His ancient house is also really charming. Thank you for the delicious wine from your father, Massimo!

Amazing cooking class with Max the sailor.
We entered the real Venice. The market, his house, the way of cooking...truly authentic. The homemade pasta was delicious and we tasted many products from the Venice region that were unknown to us. Everything was delicious. Thank you for your friendship and laughter!

"A true home made Italian food"
Massimo and his amazing meal was beyond expectations! He is not only a sailor but also an amazing chef. From the moment we booked the experiential cooking class, we were looking forward to it more than anything in Venezia! Welcoming and inviting ambience and location the other guests made it fun, we laughed all afternoon! Massimo explained every delicious course and we ate very well. Some new foods and some we have had, but, not Venetian style recipes! Highly recommend this as it's not a typical cooking class but definitely unique and most memorable part of our trip for sure! We enjoyed the marketplace together, the cooking and the eating. All of us had a great time and would highly recommend the experience to anyone considering it! Easily well worth the money!!! Life-changing experience! Learning how to make homemade pasta from scratch was one of the highlights. The fresh pasta I made was unlike anything you can buy in stores – the taste, texture, and overall quality were on a whole new level. Max s instructions were incredibly clear and informative, making the process both enjoyable and approachable. After this, I’m never going back to store-bought pasta. If you’ve ever thought about trying it yourself, I highly recommend taking this class. It’s an experience that will transform you.
