Learn the art of Sicilian cuisine!
We will host you at our apartment, in the historic heart of the city, where our kitchen will become the setting for your culinary creations.You will know about the origin and history of the symbolic dishes of the Trinacria, connected to the historical, cultural and religious events of the island. We will cook Arancini and Cannoli, two of the most prominent Sicilian finger food dishes.
Arancino is a ball of flavored rice, breaded and then fried, with a diameter of 8-10 cm, stuffed with different ingredients and sauces typical of Sicilian cuisine.
We will cook different variations of Arancini, with vegetarian options, or fish and meat, we will clarify with you before the class.
The Sicilian Cannoli, are a traditional sweet typical of Sicilian pastry. These are fried waffles in the shape of a tube precisely “Cannolo”.
The Cannoli are then stuffed with ricotta cream and decorated with powdered sugar and chopped pistachios or almonds.
The duration of the classes varies from 3 to 4 hours. We will provide the participants with everything they need, a welcome drink, wine, beer and water during the entire class.
