Hi! I’m Shirley, born in the states and raised in Japan. I’m graduated from a culinary school in Japan and a cook license holder, Food hygiene manager, Fermented food researcher, Sake navigator, Cheese navigator, owner of Shirley’s Cooking and Workshops. My new kitchen is newly opened in a residential area in Tokyo and fortunately surrounded by cherry blossom trees so it is beautiful in the springtime. After the class on the way back to the nearby station, I will walk you to a shrine, super market, a small shopping street for free.
Gyoza skin is not handmade but we are going to use the one mixed with rice flour which makes the gyoza nice and chewy. Wagyu is known as fatty and juicy beef in Japan and we can taste a tiny piece in this class. You can choose Miso soup or Clear soup
