LEINA COOKERY

This cooking class was just the best!! We had a personal cooking class with Nga. She and her husband are the cutest! Nga led us through the process of cooking 4 different Vietnamese meals, explaining the different steps and pointing out the combination of flavors typical for the vietnamese cuisine. We loved everything about that class and would definitely recommend it!

We learned to cook quick and tasty recipes, wich we will definitely make again at home for friends and relatives. The teacher was very welcoming and nice and guided us step by step through four traditional Vietnamese recipes. Super recommended for those want to have a different experience in Hoi An.

We had the most extraordinary experience at Leina Cookery in Hanoi, Vietnam. From the warm welcome to the amazing food, it was a memorable day with my husband. The staff's kindness and expertise made the cooking class a delightful and delicious experience. I highly recommend Leina Cookery for a fantastic culinary adventure in Hanoi!

If you’re looking for a quieter class than most of them that are available then this one would be perfect for you. It was just me and my partner so we had Nga all to ourselves! She took us through all the steps to make 4 delicious dishes and I would do that all again in a heartbeat. Best experience ever

We had a fantastic evening with Nya. We booked day of and were the only 2 in the class, which meant we had a really personal experience and could try everything. She focusses on simple, tasty dishes that can be made in your home country, so it's very practical. We also got beers to enjoy with our meal. Her husband was a star for taking lots of pictures too, documenting the process. There aren't many cooking classes in the evening that don't involve the boats, markets etc. (which can be a bit touristy) I can't recommend Leina's Cookery enough! 10/10 experience.

Leina’s cookery was an amazing experience in Hoi An. We turned up expecting a group class, but we were pleasantly surprised by a table full of food setup outside the owner's cafe just for us! We were greeted with a refreshing juice drink before we started cooking. We were guided through, step by step, how to cook traditional Vietnam dishes from scratch. Picked up lots of clever tricks to try at home. They even took photos of us throughout and explained steps so we could take notes. We enjoyed each meal after we cooked it with a cold beer. They were brilliant hosts who made us feel very welcome in their cafe/kitchen. We could not recommend this experience enough if you want to try Vietnamese food and like cooking!

We did a cooking class at Leina Cookery, and it was very nice. We learned a lot of new things and had a very good meal! We really liked to do the cooking class here :)

Leina was amazing, small group of three of us and she showed us how to make 4 classic Vietnamese dishes which were all amazing. Even took photos for us throughout and sent the recipes afterwards. Would recommend!!!

We had an amazing experience with Leina! Before the class we could choose between 4 menus (1 veggie option!), each 4 courses. Leina was very friendly and helpful! The dishes we cooked were quite easy, and Leina gave us great tips to be able to remake them at home.

Leina cookery was the perfect way to learn about the culinary treasures of Hoi An. The teacher and her husband, who run the cooking school as well as a café in the same building, were great fun and spoke very good English. My husband and I made 4 courses and learned tips and tricks from the Vietnamese cuisine. Everything tasted great and the produce was very fresh - straight from the market. All in all, a wonderful experience we would recommend for all!

We so enjoyed our class with Leina Cookery! I was looking for something that wasn't the typical touristy trip that all the other classes do, but more about the food and the experience, and Leina Cookery class was perfect! There was only my husband (who doesn't usually cook) and I, so it was really personal, and it was nice to be able to speak with Leina and her family and find out more about life in Hoi An, and they were so lovely! The food was super easy to learn and really delicious. I can't wait to try the recipes at home. A great experience.

We were the only participants, which allowed us to do every step ourselves. We made some easy recipes, which we could easily copy when we got home (recipes were also sent via email) Our instructor was very enthusiastic and we received some nice photos afterward.

We booked for the first time a cooking class on Cookly and arrived at Leina and her husband's coffee shop. They are a couple working as teachers, owning a coffee shop on their ground floor house, and organizing cooking classes for lunch and dinner. I was impressed by how much they do and how great the experience was! We really had a good time and learned how Vietnamese are cooking. Her concept is to teach us easy recipes so we can do them again when we are back home. We could choose between four different menus which is not something we have seen in the other cooking class offering. It was perfect as I wanted to learn how to make spring rolls and prawn soup 🦐. She offered us to buy the rice paper so we could bring them back home and we came back the day after to take a coconut coffee and grab them. We spent again time together to talk about life and the Vietnamese lifestyle. We had a lovely experience and we highly recommend this place! Thanks again, we hope to see you again one day 💞
