Our in-person classes suit everyone, from beginners to confident cooks – whatever your experience, our demo-and-do approach ensures we give you the attention you need. There’s plenty of time for eating and cooking in our classes. We’re all about the joy of great Balinese food and the way it brings people together.

Teaching cooking, for us, has always been about empowering people and giving them the knowledge and confidence to feed themselves and their families better. I want people to learn, be inspired, but above all have fun, whatever their food knowledge.

"Cooking class"

We booked a group cooking class but ended up being the only two. Our chief was very patient and great at teaching us new skills and how to cook traditional meals. I am vegetarian and did not miss out on any part of the dishes. Amazing definitely recommending this to friends!

"un moment très agréable"

Je me suis inscrite avec notre jeune garçon. Nous travaillons sur des plans de travail prévus pour deux personnes. Nous étions avec un petit groupe d'australiens (3 personnes). Chacun prépare ses 4 plats. Le formateur explique très bien, peu importe votre niveau de cuisine, il passe vous aider et vérifier les temps de cuisson. Vous pouvez choisir de préparer vos plats épicés, ou non. Si vous êtes végétariens, il suffit de le préciser à l'inscription. Vous finissez par déguster vos préparations. Il nous a préparé le dessert. N'hésitez pas !!! Pour 28€ : leçon + ingrédients + dégustation + navette jusqu'à votre hôtel + photos & vidéos reçues sur WhatsApp. Très bonne expérience ! (cours en anglais)

"Wonderful!"

My friend and I were very lucky to participate in a morning cooking class which included a local market tour with Chef Nyoman. We had a fabulous time and learnt so much. Nyoman transported us to and from our accommodation. He and his staff were so friendly, welcoming and were very skilled teachers. Situated on the edge of Ubud amongst rice fields, the environment was peaceful and lush. We highly recommend this tour!

"Amazing cooking class!"

Everything about the class is organized perfectly! You will be pick-up at your accomodation an driven to the market, cooking class and back. You can even ask if they want to drop you somewhere else if you have further plans that day. Furthermore the chef, Nyoman, is a very kind and enthousiastic teacher. His english is also very good, so while driving to the class you can have a very nice talk with him. He can tell you everything about the Indonesian culture and a bit more about Ubud. The dishes were also very delicous and fun to make. And while you are cooking, Nyoman will take a lot of picture so you can show off your cooking skills at home. So if you are looking for a cooking class, definitly sign up for this one!

"Fun, relaxed and enjoyable"

This was a highlight, something to tell your friends. Made more enjoyable by our driver, Agun's explanations on the area on the way there. Our host was friendly and patient and made us feel at ease. We ate what we made and went home happy, educated and our bellies full. Happy to recommend this.
