Poon Choi (basin meal) cannot be omitted in Hong Kong celebrations. It represents an auspicious, happy and prosperous life. Each of the ingredients in Poon Choi represents a different fortune meaning. Poon Choi originated from Hakka villages in the New Territories and was modified from basic ingredients to a more deluxe version of Poon Choi by the people of Hong Kong.

For this class, you will get a chance to learn how to cook Poon Choi by yourself. Before starting the class, you will first tour the wet market to learn how to select the necessary ingredients. Then you will begin cooking in our very convenient and clean cooking studio. This tour and cooking class is a perfect time for your family and friends to enjoy learning a traditional dish together.

Jadwal

• 10.00 am: Meet at Mongkok MTR Station, exit A
• 10.30 am: Tour around the traditional wet market to buy ingredients
• 11.00 am: Prepare deluxe Poon Choi at the cooking studio
• 1:00 pm: Enjoy Poon Choi prepared by you and the instructors
