Welcome to Iridare Embroidery and Cooking!

I am Yoko and I run Iridare Embroidery and Cooking. When I was a kid, I used to read books about sweets rather than picture books influenced by my mom and grandmother who love to cook. I was happy when people said that what I cooked was "delicious", and became more and more fond of cooking.

In 2008 I opened a cafe with a culture school in Tokyo. In 2014 I closed the cafe and moved to Kamakura. There I started a bento class to share the Japanese home-style cooking that my grandmother and mother taught me. Kamakura is surrounded by ocean and hills, and my house has good access to both of them. In the comfortable atmosphere of a Japanese household, I would like to share a great time with you!
