소개

Designed for visitors to Marrakech who might be pressed for time between sightseeing and shopping, our new express cooking workshops allow one to learn the ins and outs of preparing a Moroccan dish in a beautiful new workshop with state-of-the-art equipment.

During a typical express workshop, each participant cooks his or her tagine in less than an hour alongside one of La Maison Arabe’s dadas (traditional Moroccan women chefs), who shares a culinary knowledge handed down over generations. She is accompanied by a translator (Arab/English/French). Only fresh local ingredients of the highest quality are used.

You can choose one of the dishes below and learn it.

Moroccan salad
Tagine with kefta
Chicken tajine with lemon and olives
Chicken tajine or beef tajine with caramelized abricots
Berber tajine with vegetables (with or without beef)
Moroccan briouates – assortment of ground meat or vegetable

"Wonderful class"

This was a great introduction to tagine cooking. We were a bit short on time in Marrakech so decided to do the one-hour course, but we all said afterward that we wished that we had longer. Our two teenagers really enjoyed it as well!

"Brilliant"

There were four of us on this one hour cookery course and it was brilliant. I am vegetarian with a gluten intolerance, which was catered for. The kitchen was inviting and laid out well. The teachers were patient and helpful and the tea ceremony was also good. And we all ended up with a tasty meal to eat upstairs in the restaurant.

We had the most amazing cooking class, learning how to make chicken tagine with preserved lemon. Wafa was the perfect hostess, teaching us about Moroccan spices, customs, and food. She was also extremely knowledgeable and friendly throughout. She was great. Fatima was our wonderful chef. Her guidance and instructions helped us make the perfect dish. It was delicious and such a fun experience! It was The highlight of the trip, and I will do it again on my next visit to Marrakech!!
