Sushi is the best popular food of Japan and Sushi restaurant is everywhere in the world nowadays.

However, a small number of people have had an experience of making sushi.

So our Tokyo Foodrink Tour offers special opportunity of sushi making class taught by a professional sushi chef.

First of all, we are going to Tsukiji fish market. Tsukiji fish market is the world's biggest seafood market.

There are many Japanese unique foods and fresh fish.

Our knowledgeable guide tours there and show important elements of Japanese culinary culture.

Then we're going to make sushi by yourself.

Thanks to Yoshi our multilingual guide into the tsukiji market. Have an answer to every questions, know all the good spots ( enjoyed the samples! And the knives shop! ) The sushi class was great, excellent sushi master. Perfect skills. My best cooking class experience in Tokyo so far.

The tour of the market was great.... So much to see and exoeriance. The tour guide was knowledgeable and engaging. A fun trip for anyone interested in food or cooking, or Japanese culture.

"Great insight, fun day"

Touring Tsukiji with our guide, Yuko, was a transformative experience. I just don't think we would have enjoyed or had the courage to try so much in this very alien environment without the local insight. That extended to getting to know everyone's wishes about food or shopping and making sure we were all satisfied. We only had 5 people in our group so it was an intimate, enjoyable experience. Getting out of Tsukiji as it reaches peak crowd to go to a posh sushi place in Ginza is a good move. The sushi class is in a lovely room with loads of Japanese atmosphere but the comfort of western chairs. My only two quibbles: this is more a sushi "assembly" than a sushi "making" class, you don't get much on how to select and cut the fish or how to make the rice, which is the really tricky stuff, and; you come together with other tours for the sushi making and each guide translates for his or her own group. While I admire the dedication to customer service, multiple English translations made for quite a distracting babble. It would be a better class if just one person translated, and the other guides concentrated on helping the students.
