Welcome to the only Turkish Coffee on Sand workshop in Istanbul.

Have you previously explored the historical and prominent places in Istanbul and were you looking for something more unique, enjoyable, and local?

Our experience is perfect for you. In our workshop, dedicated to 100% guest satisfaction, you will learn all the traditions and customs of coffee and Turkish coffee from a coffee master, while we also tell you about your future.

Your experiences in this event:

You will learn about the history and preparation of Turkish coffee directly from Turkish coffee MAKING champions who have received training from us.
You will experience two different coffee brewing methods: FIRST on the sand and SECOND with a stove.
You can choose from eight different types of coffee beans in a special blend based on your taste preferences.
You will learn all the intricate details of how to make coffee ON sand at home.
You will learn how to select accompaniments for coffee and their functions.
You will learn how to read fortunes from Turkish coffee, including meanings of symbols.
We will gift you your own COPPER coffee pot(CEZVE), cup set, and coffee beans, which are a unique blend.

Note:

This experience is made using the recipe of the world Turkish coffee cezve champion.
Advance notice is required for languages other than English.

You can select from eight different types of coffee beans, specially blended to match your taste preferences.

Our workshop is open from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with sessions running every 2 hours.

"An Amazing Experience!"

We have been to the coffee workshop today and it was an amazing experience. Not only it was worth the money, but the people there were great too. Diana, our host, was very nice, very patient. She really has great skills and is an amazing person overall. I actually hope to come back someday and try more workshops ❤️

Enes was such a great guide talking us through the history of coffee and teaching us how to make our very own Turkish coffee. To end it all off he also read us our fortune through our coffee grains and gave us a gift bag so we can make our own from home. Lovely experience.

"A must attend class!"

A must attend class for coffee lovers and even more recommended for people who don’t like coffee - it’s so informative and inclusive. The setup is so lovely, each one of us had our own apparatus and instruments for our coffee making. The host was extremely sweet and told overall history of coffee and coffee making. Very accessible and smooth experience. Host even did a coffee reading towards the end for everyone.

The workshop is located inside the UNVER GALATA APART HOTEL, just a 4-minute walk from GALATA TOWER and a 3-minute walk from the TOPHANE tram stop on the EUROPEAN side of BEYOGLU.

More Details:
You will enter Ünver Galata Apart, where you'll see our neon sign that reads "Highlights in Istanbul Workshops." Proceed to the stairs at the end of the corridor, go up one floor, and you will find our workshop in room 101.
