Embark on an enriching Balinese culinary journey with Chef Denny! Experience a full-day cooking class that begins with an exciting market tour in Jimbaran, where you'll handpick the freshest ingredients.

Back in our kitchen, learn to prepare 10 traditional dishes including Balinese Paste, Grilled Fish, and Banana Fritters. Chef Denny, with more than two decades of culinary experience, will expertly guide you through each recipe. Enjoy the added convenience of complimentary transportation within Nusa Dua, ensuring a smooth and unforgettable experience from beginning to end.

Balinese Paste (base gede)
Crancam Ayam (minced chicken soup with celery and fried shallot)
Jujut Balung Nangka (chicken or pork spare ribs and young jackfruit Balinese curry)
Ikan Bakar (grilled fish in a Balinese secret recipe)
Sambal Matah (Balinese raw lemongrass sauce)
Sate Lilit Ayam (minced chicken with Balinese paste in a bamboo skewer)
Pepes Ikan (steamed fish with basil, tomato, and Balinese paste wrapped in banana leaf)
Urap-Urap (assorted blanched vegetables with grated coconut, chili, and shrimp paste)

Visit the market with Chef.

"Superb cookery class!"

We have been on this Balinese cookery class and have learned so much. First of all a trip to the fish market for a selection of fresh fish, tips what to look for when buying fish etc. Back to classes where everything was well organized, alternative ingredient selection was given when you are cooking at home, all very attentive . It was an hands on class but guidance from the chef and his assistants was given. Food tasted delicious and we plan to visit the hotel restaurant before leaving the island. If you are a foodie this is a must go!
