소개

This cooking experience is for those travelers who wish to gain insight into an Indian home and interact with an Indian middle-class family while learning to prepare a traditional Indian meal, dessert, and drink.

You will get to see how homes in India are styled and furnished and how a local family lives in India.

You will discover the culinary heritage and cultural values of India, beyond just the food. You will also get an opportunity to learn some useful Hindi words and sentences in a fun activity that you can use during your travels.

Anybody's visit to Delhi would be incomplete without booking this incredible experience!

"The food was excellent with both Roopak & Ndihi, best value for money experience we have ever had!"

Roopak & Ndihi provide an experience which is not comparable to anything else we have been on across various countries and excursions. Incredibly warm and welcoming, beautiful clean home who couldn’t do more to provide you with a truly unique India experience. They provide you a wealth of knowledge beyond the average tourist would see making you feel incredibly valued. The cooking experience was very hands on delivered in a very fun and knowledgeable way. The food was excellent with both Roopak & Ndihi being the perfect hosts - best value for money experience we have ever had!

"What a perfect way to spend my last day in Delhi"

What a perfect way to spend my last day in Delhi. I wish I would have met them on the first day. It would’ve made things so much clearer. They explained so much that I wish I would have known coming in, but anyhow, they are amazing hosts and I got to make a very delicious meal. They had a really nice menu of add-ons and I chose to do three of them. I could have done all of them but opted for adding on the henna, doing some art, and yoga. What a talented couple. I would’ve never known that I could’ve done everything from scratch like that and they made it all feel easy. The directions , descriptions and instructions were very clear and informative, but nothing could have informed me about the great time I was about to have! Some of the times were also very mellow which I appreciated so much because this town can be very chaotic.

10/10, the class was great, well priced and a real insight into an Indian household. they were great at communicating and picked me up from the metro station and took me back to theirs for the class, and dropped me back to the station once done. The class was just me and one other solo traveller so was a nice small size. Roopak and Nidhi were lovely and made it a really easy and open atmosphere to ask any questions about Indian culture that you wanted which i really appreciated and learned so much from. The cooking was good fun and they encouraged you to ask as many questions as you wanted and then we all sat down and ate the delicious food together- was a lovely family like experience !

"5-star experience that I would recommend to anyone"

Roopak and Nidhi were fantastic hosts. They went above and beyond to keep us informed and constantly provided outstanding tips. Their house is lovely. Despite our late arrival, Roopak kindly picked us up from the Metro station. We had numerous questions about India, its history, religion, and culture, all of which they answered with patience. The food was exceptional. We learned simple recipes and techniques that can be easily replicated back home. I highly recommend participating in this at the beginning of your tour. It serves as an excellent introduction to Indian culture, enriching the overall experience. The only downside: they offered gifts in exchange for a review before we left. We declined due to limited space. This gesture did not tarnish the wonderful experience we had with them, but it’s worth noting, as it could make guests feel pressured to leave a more favorable review to avoid any awkwardness. Despite the minor concern, it was still a 5-star experience that I would recommend to anyone.

The Indian culture is to treat your guests like a God and indeed that’s how I felt. Nidhi’s warmth and hospitality match her cooking skills - she’s gracious and generous and has a sharp sense of humor. We prepared delicious, healthy, fresh food together- all the while Nidhi patiently explained what we were doing and why. I’m a happy customer and highly recommend Nidhi’s cooking class to anyone who wants an authentic experience of home cooked Indian food and an extra dose of feel-good hospitality ❤️ Thank you 🙏

만나는 장소

Option 1 - The Guest can arrive by Cab / Uber at Sanskriti Apartment, Sector 19B, Dwarka, Delhi - 110075. I will meet the Guest inside the Sanskriti Apartment and then take him/her into my home for the Experience.

Option 2 - My home is just 5 min. (by car) from the nearest Metro Station which is "Dwarka Sector 10" on the Blue Line of Delhi Metro. I can pick up & drop off the Guest from the Metro Station at no extra cost.

In both Options, the Guest will receive detailed instructions from me after booking.
