Mastering Mexican Salsas Cooking Class on Wednesdays

소개

The goal of this class is for you to master our top Mexican salsas selection. You will learn history, types and use of fresh and dry chiles, salsa classification by type of chiles, level of spicyness, uses of our salsas, secrets and of course how to prepare our special selection of Mexican Salsas, focusing on the different preparation and cooking methods.

All our recipes are meant for you to replicate in your daily menus back home. Salsas to be enjoyed with street appetizers all paired with our Agua Fresca of the day.

Each participant will make by themselves at least 5 different salsas to cover each of the cooking methods, so everyone can have a hands-on learning with the different techniques, and then split the remaining of the salsas among the class participants.

We will conduct our cooking class in an intimate Mexican cooking studio in the eclectic Roma Norte neighborhood. Walking distance to Mercado de Medellín and Mercado Roma.

일정

• 4:00 pm: We will start your experience with a welcome fruit-based water beverage "agua fresca" while learning about the history of Mexican cuisine.
• 4:30 pm: Then we will share with you detailed explanations of recipes and ingredients to be ready to head to the kitchen for a hands-on cooking experience.
• 5:00 pm: We will prepare 10 Mexican salsas using various cooking methods including: raw, roasted, cooked and fried.
• 6:00 pm: Afterwards, enjoy the salsas with street food tacos and appetizers with a choice of fillings ("carnitas", "cochinita pibil", roasted potatoes, scrambled eggs, sauteed mushrooms, quesadillas and cactus leaves) / vegan (zucchini flower, quelites, lentils) at our dinning table, paired with "agua fresca", artisanal mezcal and Mexican craft beer.
