In this class, we’ll make Temari sushi, a perfect dish for parties! Temari sushi is simple enough for anyone to make, yet it’s beautiful, elegant, and delicious—sure to impress friends, family, and guests alike. Join me to learn this delightful sushi style and add a stunning dish to your party recipe collection!
We’ll also make dashi, the foundational soup stock of Japanese cuisine, from scratch using kelp and katsuobushi (bonito flakes). This flavorful broth will be used to create a traditional Japanese clear soup.
In addition to Temari sushi, we’ll prepare two side dishes and one dessert of your choice, all easy to make and full of Japanese flavors.
After cooking, it’s time to enjoy your creations! While we eat, let’s chat about Nagoya, popular tourist spots in Japan, and stories from your home country and beyond!
