Located on the South-Easternmost tip of Europe at the end of the Balkan peninsula, Greece is the gateway to Europe from Africa, the Middle East and beyond.

From the days of the Silk Road to the more recent influxes of immigrants, Athens has a cultural scene far more diverse than you might think. Travel just a short distance from the historical center and its taverna-lined streets and you will find yourself in a world rich in cultural diversity.

Starting in Viktoria Square, you will journey through three ethnically diverse neighborhoods where people from around the world have made their homes and live in harmony with their Greek neighbors.

Please bring a bottle of water, wear comfortable clothing appropriate for walking in a busy city centre location, a hat, sunscreen and your camera!
