Succulent Paris

The chef was knowledgeable & the recipes will be easy to duplicate in the future. Wonderful way to spend the afternoon.

Our host is so kind and patient! She made us feel so relaxed and comfortable even with our limited kitchen skills. Our ganache, macarons and Madelines are delicious. Would highly recommend this class for anybody be interested in learning how to make these tasty treats of France!

Aurélie Provided us with a wonderful time making macarons in her beautiful and clean apartment. It was truly an authentic experience and the best macarons and madeleines we have ever tasted. As a family of 6 we all Enjoyed ourselves and she gave us many tips and ideas for how to make the desserts when we get home. She also gave us tips on where to go here in Paris and Marseilles when she knew we wanted to travel a bit more. One of the best times we have had!

My wife and I did a food tour with Camille. She took us to a few great boulangeries and patisseries, a local covered market, a boutique honey shop, and an exquisite chocolatier. In between, she provided some great historical background on the city. All of the food was excellent and Camille provided some great advice on how to spend the rest of our day. We would highly recommend this experience!

What an amazing experience. We were not sure what to expect but this ended up being one of best experiences in Paris. We learned so much. Our guide was Camille. She was so friendly and knowledgeable. We learned so much about French culture, history and food. Being in the 17th gave us more of an authentic feel for the city and food. Tastes of quiches, meats, cheese, baguette, chocolate, macaroon, coffee, etc. All during a wonderful walk and then a picnic in park. Paris is amazing for the green space. Camille went above and beyond. It really felt like walking with family. She also gave us other ideas on what to do and see. A definite must do.

We did the afternoon market tour and we can’t say enough about the experience! Camille was just lovely to spend time with, and as she has spent time in the US and is a dual citizen, she is in a unique position to point out the similarities and differences in the cultures. We walked the market and stopped and sampled from about 6 authentic shops. She bought several cheeses, quiche, bread and pastries and ended in a park with a picnic. We were also in the position of having a wheelchair, and Camille adapted the tour so we would not lose out on experiencing the feel of a traditional Parisian gastronomy experience!

We had a great time making macarons and madeleines. I would definitely do it again. And, the macarons were the best we have ever had.

My daughters, mother, and I loved learning how to bake macarons and madeleines. The setting was nice- a great neighborhood and great apartment. The instructor was patient and informative and in the end we could not believe how beautiful and delicious our creations turned out. I would highly recommend this experience and without hesitation would take another class with Succulent Paris when back in Paris.

Our host was an excellent host/teacher. Apartment was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed learning how to make Choux and eclairs!

Der Backkurs war super. ♥️ Wir wurden freundlich von Marion empfangen. Uns wurden die Grundlagen von Macarons beigebracht. Schritt für Schritt haben wir gemeinsam die Macarons mit Marion zubereitet. Sie hat uns kleine Tipps und Tricks verraten, damit diese garantiert gelingen. Nebenbei haben wir sogar noch Madeleins gemacht. Dafür, dass wir beide Sachen das erste Mal gemacht haben, kann sich unser Ergebnis wirklich sehen lassen! Wir durften alle Backwaren im Anschluss mitnehmen. Es waren ein paar wunderbare Stunden.

This was a great experience--first off was the ambience of the apartment near Montmartre, the famous shopping & dining district. Second was the friendly and educational instruction by Aurélie, who taught us the principles behind why Macaron are prepared and baked the way they are, and how novices like us can produce the best results. The end result was a delicious set of chocolate and vanilla macaron, and some warm and flavorful Madelaines. An experience we'd recommend to others visiting Paris, who would like a food experience beyond what you can find in the cafes and creperies lining the picturesque streets of each arrondissement.

Our instructor was so friendly and helpful. Everything was well organized and went so well - our macaroons and madeleines were scrumptious ! Highly recommend Succulent Paris for any cooking class or food tour !

My daughter and I had a macaron class with Aurelie during our recent trip to Paris. Aurelie's descriptions and teaching were detailed and helpful, and she is very kind and patient. The macarons (and madeleines) turned out so well, and we are looking forward to making them at home. My daughter said this was her favorite part of our trip, and I agree!

We LOVED our Macaron Baking Class in Paris! Marion was a gracious host and we learned so many fascinating tips on creating and perfecting macarons. From a little bit of French joy de vivre, history and gastronomy, we learned, we laughed and made a new friend. We would definitely recommend them for your macaron making experience. It was a highlight of our trip.

Aurelie was so talented, so sweet, and she’s actually Parisian! Our macarons came out as good as I’ve ever had and we even had extra time to make madeleines. Highly recommend. They also do food/market tours.

Family enjoyed learning to make chouix pastry. Was nice to meet a real Parison. Looking forward to trying st home.

Our private class was fantastic. Aurelie was so open and friendly and really made us feel at home in her beautiful apartment. The macarons we made were delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed the preparation as well as the opportunity to sit down after we had finished, and enjoy our creations with some tea and coffee! Perfect and friendly!

We had an extraordinary experience taking this class with Marion. I booked it for myself, my daughter and my 16-year old grandson and it was everything I had hoped it would be. We were invited to spend time in a Parisian apartment and experience a glimpse of what it would be like to live there. Our instructor, Marion was wonderful and very patient and encouraging. And her English was far better than our French! While we baked, we had a lovely chat, sharing insights into our countries and then left with a box of macarons and madeleines. None of them made it out of Paris but we will surely be baking them at home soon. I would highly recommend this class.

This was the highlight of my son’s and my trip! Aurelie was great and patient with us. And we walked away with the best macarons we have ever had! We will remember this forever, and our family and friends can not wait for us to recreate our experience for them!

We took this class with our friends and it was so much fun. We made chocolate and vanilla macarons as well as madeleines and it was a wonderful experience, one of the highlights of our vacation.

Macaron baking with Aurelie was a fabulous experience for our group of five. She was very gracious, her apartment is beautiful and we actually successfully baked delicious macaron. As an added bonus, we made Madeleines as well. What a great way to spend a day in Paris. We recommend it highly.

Great event exceeded expectations

Aurélie (nuestra profesora) hizo la diferencia. Aprendimos a hacer Macarons de chocolate y magdalenas. Lo hizo todo súper fácil. Lo hicimos 100 % mi hija y yo. Ella solo nos guió y nos dio los típs. Lo recomiendo 100% Aurelie nos dio también todos los típs para seguir nuestro viaje en Paris desde una perspectiva de alguien local. Me encanto conocerla. Fue fantástico !

Very nice kitchen/apartment. Lots of fun, very informative and she was great with our kids. Highly recommend!
