Tentang

A unique way of experiencing Bologna from the perspective of a gastronome and a 100% Bolognese food expert. The tour begins with a guided walk downtown and a visit to the old market. As you get insights on the local culinary customs, you are explained why the food is historically such an important piece of Bologna’s culture.

We then reach my house, where you are given an apron and there you go… we begin to knead the dough and prepare the Bolognaise sauce.We will make 2 types of pasta, usually Tagliatelle and Tortelloni, so you can learn both styles. A different type of pasta can be agreed in advance.

At the end, you will taste the dishes you made with a glass of good wine.


Menu

  • Tagliatelle with Bolognese meat sauce
  • Tortelloni stuffed with ricotta, with butter and sage

All accompanied by quality white and red wine of your choice.

Jadwalkan

  • 10:00 am: Meet in front of the Neptune’s fontain at Piazza Maggiore and old market tour. 
  • 11:30 am: Arrive at home and cooking session
  • 1:00 pm: Tasting 
  • 1:30 pm: End of class

"Wonderful, educational and delicious"
Rita is an exceptional person and teacher. She offered to teach me privately in her lovely home, and it was a very personalized experience. She took me to shop locally and talked to me about the city and its unique culture which was an accepted but informative lesson. She then showed me how to make some Bolognese classic dishes. It is clear she is both an educator and a culinary expert.
