Hida Takayama is renowned for its ramen. While traditional ramen soup requires lengthy preparation by skilled chefs, this class will teach you how to create a simple yet delicious soy sauce ramen that’s easy to make at home. (Note: Noodles will not be made from scratch.)

• Perilla Dumplings

Perilla has a distinctive flavor and aroma reminiscent of sesame seeds. In this class, you’ll grind perilla seeds in a mortar to create a sweet and savory sauce. You’ll also prepare the dumplings from scratch, shaping them into small balls and threading them onto skewers for a delightful treat.
