Tentang

Learn Ramen, the first thing you will learn from this class is how to make delicious ramen soup without MSG. Next, you will learn the difference between ramen noodles and other noodles and how to make these bouncy noodles. You will also learn my secret ramen soup broth recipe (non-veggie).

You will be able to remake delicious ramen noodles or gyoza at home with my recipe whenever you like. We will cook in my recently remodeled kitchen and we will enjoy the food in my cozy and calm tatami dining room.

  • Ramen noodle (chicken and dried anchovy for soup, we make ramen noodle dough using pasta machine) 

All menus have vegetarian /vegan/gluten-free options.

"Great Experience!"
Nahoko made our ramen from scratch class so informative and fun! Having the class in her home made the experience so warm and inviting. Everyone's noodles came out great and we all enjoyed our ramen! Thank you Nahoko! Aloha!

My son Anni had a great afternoon with Nahoko who has completely changed our views on Ramen and preparing noodles. Nahoko provided lots of background information on umami, ingredients and Japanese food culture but most important was the cosy and friendly atmosphere that she created for us in her kitchen.
"Authentic Ramen Class with Nahoko"
We had a great afternoon and evening at Nahoko‘s house in Tokio. She teached us how to cook Ramen from scretch. We made our own broths (also vegeterian one) and Ramen noodles. The created Ramen was so delicious! We also had some really inspiring conversations about the life in Japan. In total we really enjoyed the class and recommend it to everyone! Thanks Nahoko (and your husband) for that unique experience :)

Not only did Nahoko provide us with her recipe and practical cooking tips. She provided us with theory and background knowledge and explained why she is doing each step while cooking. This class also provides insights on Japanese culture. I would recommend this cooking class to anyone who has a interest in cooking and Japanese cuisine. It is the best experience I had so far in Japan and also the best Ramen I tasted.
