Garden-Grown Cooking Class with Wine Tasting in a 13th Century Farmhouse

We will meet in a charming farm where they produce wine, extra virgin olive oil, fruit, and vegetables; everything organic. The oldest part of the building, where both the old wine cellar, our kitchen, and dining room are located, is a 13th century tower.

Depending on the season and availability we can gather some of the ingredients and herbs directly in the vegetable garden and we will have hands-on cooking class preparing 4 courses.

We will prepare dishes together like:

• Fried zucchini flowers or Bruschette
• Fresh pasta with sauces that follow the season (tomato or artichokes or asparagus etc..) or classic meat ragù.
• Cacciatora chicken or meatballs or meat rolls
• Classic or fruit tiramisu

After the class, we will enjoy the wines produced by the farm accompanying them to the courses prepared by us, a different wine for each course (white, rosé, red and sweet)

There are also several "backyard" animals such as geese, goslings, hens, turkeys and rabbits.

A perfect day out of the city to spend in the company of new friends learning traditional Italian dishes, trying some good wines and enjoying an authentic day in Tuscany!

• Fresh pasta with Classic meat sauce or Artichokes or Mushroom and sausage or Asparagus pesto
• Chicken Cacciatora or Classic meatballs or Arista or Tuscan Peposo
• Tiramisù or Semifreddo or Classic Italian cake or Biscotti

Jadwalkan

• 10:00 am: Meet at the farmhouse and vineyard
• 10:15 am: Cooking class (4 courses)
• 1:00 pm: Tour the wine cellar with the owner
• 1:30 pm: Lunch and wine tasting
• 3:30 pm: Return to Florence
