A unique experience in Tokyo to fully enjoy Japanese traditional culture all at once.

Former Japanese cuisine chefs will guide you step-by-step, ensuring even beginners feel comfortable. In a fun and relaxed setting, you'll learn how to make sushi rice, rolled sushi, omelets, and matcha. With clear support from our English-speaking guide, you'll have the freedom to ask questions throughout the session.

You'll also receive recipes to recreate the dishes at home, making it ideal for impressing guests at your next gathering. This experience is perfect for families, providing a unique opportunity for parents and children to bond while discovering Japanese food culture together.

Our classroom is conveniently located in Zoshigaya, just a direct train ride from Shibuya on the Fukutoshin Line, passing by landmarks like Meiji Shrine and Shinjuku. The nearest station, Ikebukuro, is a hub for shopping with destinations such as Animate, Pokémon Center, and electronics stores. After your lesson, take a relaxing walk to the nearby Kishimo Shrine, a serene spot adorned with red torii gates

Menu

• History and Tools:

Learn about the history of futomaki and sushi while discovering the tools and seasonings used in their preparation. This will deepen your understanding of basic cooking techniques.

• How to Make Sushi Rice:

Master the art of making sushi rice using a special sushi tub. With this skill, you'll be able to make delicious sushi at home!

• Fish Handling Demonstration:

Watch a professional chef demonstrate how to properly cut fish.

• Making Futomaki:

Experience the fun of rolling your own futomaki using a special sushi mat. With fresh ingredients, you’ll make sushi rolls perfect for family and friends gatherings. This is a great opportunity for parents and children to learn together, strengthen family bonds, and explore Japanese food culture.

• Making Dashimaki Tamago:

Learn the techniques for making fluffy dashimaki tamago using a specialized frying pan. Enjoy the professional taste of this Japanese omelet right at home.

• Making Matcha Tea:

Experience preparing matcha tea using traditional tea ceremony methods. Enjoy beautifully presented matcha and seasonal Japanese sweets for a relaxing and delightful moment.

• Miso Soup:

Savor a bowl of miso soup made with care by the chef.

Note:

1. On the day of the class, you can enjoy the following drinks for an additional 500 yen each, payable in cash:

• Sake: Hakkaisan (180ml)
• Beer: Kirin Ichiban Shibori (350ml)

2. Please be aware that we do not offer vegetarian or halal menu options.

3. We also provide aprons, so please come empty-handed.

Lunch Session

• 11:00 AM - 11:10 AM: Introduction and explanation of the lesson flow and basic knowledge of making maki sushi.
• 11:10 AM - 11:20 AM: Making sushi rice using a sushi tub
• 11:20 AM - 11:35 AM: Making tamagoyaki (Japanese omelet) using a specialized pan
• 11:35 AM - 11:40 AM: Fish filleting demonstration
• 11:40 AM - 12:00 Noon: Making and plating maki sushi using a sushi mat
• 12:00 Noon - 12:30 PM: Tasting (maki sushi, tamagoyaki, miso soup)
• 12:30 PM - 12:55 PM: Matcha tea experience and seasonal Japanese sweets
• 1:00 PM: At the end of the lesson, as a token of our appreciation, we’ll gift everyone the photos from the experience.

Afternoon Session
