Escape the city!

Just over an hour away from Rome, you'll find yourself in Arce — beautiful and unspoiled scenery of mountains, valleys, and an ancient medieval town. The town is home to Palazzo Tronconi Vineyards and Winery, Restaurant and Hotel.

This experience will offer you the taste of the region "Ciociaria"  where over centuries food, tradition, and culture have been deeply woven into the landscape. 

You'll be met by Marco, owner and passionate winemaker of Palazzo Tronconi. He'll take you on a tour of his Demeter certified biodynamic vineyard. The wine tour will take you through the whole winemaking process, starting on the vineyard, ending with wine on your taste buds. 

You'll learn about the principles of biodynamic winemaking, the importance of soil, how the vines are trained, the harvest of perfectly ripe grapes of rediscovered ancient native vines. At the winery, you'll learn how the fermentation process works before the finished product is bottled. Finally, in the cellar, you'll have the opportunity to sample wines directly from the barrel.

Back at Palazzo Tronconi's winery restaurant, the most enjoyable part of the process, tasting the vineyard’s exquisite wines perfectly paired with lunch/dinner overlooking the vineyards. Enjoy an organic menu of our regional dishes including fresh locally sourced artisan cheeses, cured meats and hand made pasta — each course paired with our exquisite wines. 

From farm to table -  all ingredients are from our own farm and local artisan producers who share our values.

• Fettuccine pasta made with eggsfrom the famed “Ancona” heritage bred chicken and a creamy porcini mushroom sauce

• Organic free-range chicken stewed with sweet D.O.P bell peppers from Pontecorvo
• Buffalo stew from the“Fattoria Lauretti” farm in Amaseno served with pumpkin, rosemary, and white wine
