À propos de votre expérience

You will learn to make 4 authentic Kimchi using Korean cabbage (Baechu Kimchi ), radish (Kkakdugi ) and cucumber (Oi Sobagi ). Especially for cabbage Kimchi, you will learn how to make Kimchi for a long term (Gimjang Kimchi ) and short term (Geotjeori ). After cooking, you will enjoy Kimchi with boiled pork like what Korean do with the family on 'Kimchi making day'.

Small class ( a group less than 5 people ) is led by certified Korean chef Jomin in English, and conducted in her own home kitchen around Hongdae area. Before class, you will enjoy the local market tour as well.

This is not a demo class, but a hands-on class you prepare ingredients from scratch. So you can repeat healthy Kimchi making back at home for your beloved family and friends. During the class, you become friends sharing your passion about food, culture, and travel.

We learned a lot and it was a nice and clean atmosphere. We hat a great day and a lot of fun!

"Delicious make and take class!"

We loved making the different kinds of kimchi and learning about how all the ingredients come together. The market tour allowed us to ask a lot of questions about Korean food and ingredients. Jomin was a wonderful teacher and the class was very hands on. The kimchi we made was delicious!

"Excellent and fun introduction to kimchi"

Small friendly class and we'll set up and organised, from our visit to the market (where I also learnt so much about the street food, helpful for the rest of my trip!) to the step by step kimchi making in the teacher's well equipped kitchen. And we got to taste everything afterwards along with some delicious extras, and take kimchi home! Definitely win-win.

"Fun and Informative"

The experience was very enjoyable. There were only two of us scheduled that lunch so we had the pleasure of getting all of Jomin’s attention. The market tour was really informative and gave us confidence in identifying the ingredients for when we try the recipes at home. The class was easy to follow and Jomin was really hands-on. We got to eat our own kimchi with the delicious meal Jomin prepared for us. We got to take home the left-overs and our family loved the kimchi we made! We’ll definitely try the other cooking classes next time. :)

Our instructor was very helpful and engaging. She made the cooking experience fun and exciting. We felt so comfortable in her house as she was also very hospitable. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will do more classes with her.
