In the heart of glitzy Ginza and right next to the famous theater Kabuki-za lies Chazen, an almost enigmatically harmonic place that lets you experience the Japanese Tea Ceremony in all its authenticity. 

This is the realm of Rie Takeda, who started doing the Tea Ceremony from her earliest childhood and now boasts over 30 years of experience.  Please join Rie Takeda, and her fellow teachers at Chazen, for an unforgettable experience of sharing and hospitality in Tokyo's beautiful Ginza.

• Watch the demonstration from the teacher
• Prepare your own green tea with chasen (tea whisk)

• 10:00 am: Tea Ceremony lecture
• 10:15 am: Boil tea leaves with a mortar and makes green tea 
• 10:20 am: Tea ceremony demonstration
• 10:30 am: Season Enjoy fresh confectionery and green tea
• 10:35 am: Make your own green tea

Afternoon Session

• 3:00 pm: Tea Ceremony lecture
