My husband and I spent an incredible afternoon with Touria, Hind, and their lovely family. We had the class at their restaurant in Casablanca where we met these three generations of chefs. The food was amazing; three different kinds of tajines, bread, Moroccan salad, eggplant humus, and all of it starting and finishing with tea and some pastries. The experience was so unique because it wasn’t just cooking. We were allowed to share with this family their culture and traditions. What a view of the country. Just perfect! Touria and Hand gave us a wonderful experience. The recipes were such that we would make tajines, pastillage, and Moroccan salads on our return home. However, the highlight was being in Touria’s beautiful home, surrounded by her family. Their hospitality was overwhelming. It was an experience we will treasure.
We are two known chefs in Morocco Hajja touria Dakkaki and Hind Daissaoui started a new course called Beach View Cooking Class in Casablanca, my mom and I wanted to share with you our experience of cooking over 20 years.
