"Highly recommend!"
Michi was a wonderful teacher and the food was so delicious. We made Mapo tofu and gyoza (dumplings). I highly recommend attending a class with her 🥰
"The Best Japanese Cooking Experience at Michiko's Little Kitchen"
If you're looking for a delightful and hands-on way to learn quick and easy Japanese dishes you can recreate at home, Michiko's Little Kitchen is the perfect place. During my class, my friend and I chose to make makizushi and octopus sausages. While I enjoy cooking, I discovered new techniques, especially for preparing the Japanese style rolled egg (tamagoyaki), that I hadn’t mastered before. Michiko’s patience, kindness, and fluent English made the entire process enjoyable and easy to follow. Her step-by-step guidance ensured that I not only understood the techniques but also felt confident recreating them afterward. I’ve already started making makizushi at home, and it’s been a hit! Whether you’re visiting Japan or exploring its culture on a personal day trip, I highly recommend reserving time for a cooking class at Michiko’s Little Kitchen. It’s an unforgettable experience, blending fun, skill-building, and authentic Japanese flavors. Trust me, you’ll leave with great memories and even better cooking skills!
"Gyoza cooking class"
Had a wonderful experience with my kids!! My kids had never made Gyoza before but they did really well. And tasted really good too! We had such a great time together. Now, whenever I make Gyoza, my kids help me out. Mic hook is friendly and easy to talk to. I would highly recommend one of her classes and I would love to go back when I get a chance again!
"We had a good time and space!"
I visited with my family. The wide variety of Japanese food, made for a very different experience from the norm. The hospitality is also excellent! I would like to participate again. If you have any doubts, this is the place to decide.
"First time making gyoza!"
It was our first experience in Japan. Michiko was very kind and helpful so we enjoyed cooking with her. We really liked gyoza. Making gyoza was not very easy but we enjoyed it.
