Once your pick up has been arranged we will take you throughout the picturesque walk to reach our neighbourhood where you will gain true insight and an authentic perspective of the local life here in Capri ending at our favorite viewpoint of the Amalfi coast. Once you are in the neighbourhood of Matermania there are also other breath-taking views facing the Amalfi coast, like the famous “Natural Arch'', “Piazzetta delle Noci'' viewpoint, and the start of the magical “Pizzo Lungo” hike.

This is truly the concept behind our cooking classes as we open our home to create a friendly and cosy environment while providing an authentic cooking experience, leaving you a bit more “Caprese” than before. Our Seafood class is designed for those who love the Mediterranean staples and are ready to enhance their cooking skills with our simple guidelines from how to buy the freshest produce to all the cooking tricks. Our class starts with a refreshing aperitivo and a Seacutery board with some of our favourites in season. Once you are charged up and ready to go we will start the class and will continue with making a very traditional mussels dish, the iconic spaghetti with clams and the catch of the day “All’Acqua Pazza”. The class is designed in a way that is easy to replicate, ensuring that you will be able to gladly show off to your guests your newly acquired cooking skills.
Your evening will also be paired with local organic wines which is the result of a meticulous selection of regional wine producers, the outcome of ancient processes adopted by contemporary artisans who are passionate and respectful of their land and what grows on it.
Our tailored cooking experience highlights the simplicity of local ingredients, traditional cooking methods, family recipes, and some secrets that have been passed down from generation to generation that will become part of your story too. You will end the evening enjoying your creations on our terrace with plenty of smiles and a few legends of the land.

Tasting of locally sourced "Seacouterie": Cured fish, organic extra virgin olive oil, and my mother’s organic vinegar made from Piedirosso grapes. Paired with a glass of regional natural wine.

Torta Caprese al Limone : My mother, Ester, recipe for a gluten free almond cake infused with the intoxicating aroma and flavour of Capri lemons. Paired with a local after dinner liqueur.
