Relax over lunch on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius and enjoy discovering tasty local dishes paired with organic Lacryma Christi DOP del Vesuvio wines. We'll also have a guided tour through the winery and vineyards.

During the class, you will visit our vineyards and winery on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius with a guided walk and explanation of the production of Lacryma Christi. There are pair 5 Lacryma Christi DOP wines with lunch. Vegetarian and vegan options are available in this class.

Antipasto with local specialties: salami, provolone cheese, casatiello, bruschetta with Piennolo tomatoes on wood-baked bread paired with:
- Lacryma Christi DOP del Vesuvio Bianco (100% Caprettone)
- Lacryma Christi DOP del Vesuvio Rosato (100% Piedirosso)
- Lacryma Christi DOP del Vesuvio Rosso (100% Piedirosso)
Spaghetti with Piennolo tomato and basil sauce paired with:
- Lacryma Christi Riserva (80% Piedirosso and 20% Aglianico aged in French oak barrels between 18 and i 24 months)
Pastiera Napoletana made with ricotta. grain, and candied fruit paired with:

"A fantastic winery visit."

This was my second visit to this winery and it was fantastic both times! The food and wine are consistently delicious. The staff was so lovely. Carmine in particular was a lot of fun!

"Perfect wine with pasta!"

This trip to the winery was not on our original agenda but recommended by our driver who took us to Pompeii. Turned out to be another unforgettable experience! We were warmly greeted upon arrival with a glass of wine. The tour to the vineyard and brewery was fun, educational and informative, and the beautiful view of the volcano was just phenomenal! I even got to keep a small piece of volcanic rock. Less to mention the six courses of generous wine tasting and delicious pasta served. An amazing place to visit for sure!!!

This was an excellent experience for our family including those starting on their wine tasting journey to find wines they enjoy. We got to see and experience grapes picked from the vines, learn about how their wine is unique, and see where it is produced. We then had lunch tasting paired with wines. We tasted 6 wines in total and red wine vinegar. All were excellent. The food was amazing. We also captured some great family photos. The staff were excellent at providing one on one experience, and sharing information about the wines, how to pair them with food. We are now part of the wine club and shipped additional bottles home. Meet at the Cantina Del Vesuvio.

Cantina del Vesuvio is located on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius, near the town of Trecase, Italy.

If you can't reach us by car we can provide a free shuttle service from the Circumvesuviana train station in Torre Annunziata Oplonti(2 stops after Pompeii going towards Naples). Please request shuttle service when you book.
