Benny’s class is different than the rest. She takes you to the local market and talks about the food as well as the local people who are there selling their products. There are no other cooking school tours there, just locals and you. She and her kitchen fairies open up their home to guide you through a beautiful class of meal preparation, step-by-step instructions, humor, and fun. Her recipes are fantastic! I couldn’t imagine a better experience.
What a wonderful time! Benny's strong vision and sense of purpose was evident in every detail of the class, whether it be the small group setting that made for easy conversation and bonding, the relaxed pace of preparation that gave everyone time both work at their own pace and savor the food, or the use of the family garden and family members to create a truly homey atmosphere. Moreover, all the dishes were relatively simple to prepare, requiring few esoteric ingredients or difficult techniques, ensuring that one can take what they learn during the class home. Highly recommended.
Benny was an amazing hostess and chef. We enjoyed everything about the class from the pickup, to market, to cooking atmosphere and dishes.

Benny works with her mom, niece & partner and you feel as though you are part of the family! This is not a commercialized experience (they are not even on Facebook)! I’m not normally comfortable with cooking but Benny’s demonstrations and explanations of each stage made the process so simple. I feel confident to have a go at Thai food at home. The visit to the market was most informative and helped to us recognize the ingredients. It was a nice relaxed group of people who felt like friends by the end of the day and that was largely due to Benny’s good feelings and smiles. I would recommend this course to anyone skilled or not in cooking.
My dad loves to cook. He is a home chef and was close minded about cooking strategies. I took him to Thailand for his 60th birthday. He was hesitant at first but when we got to talk with Thai natives during the market tour, he became really interested and he started asking questions. By the time we started our individual cooking, he got so competitive and started to compete with the instructor. Gladly, the chef was very understanding and patient. The staff were also friendly and accommodating. They laughed and enjoyed watching us and we all had a wonderful time altogether. The dishes we made were sumptuous and delightful! My dad was so proud of himself and even bragged that he was better than every one else in the group. We all had a great day and my dad asked if we could comeback soon.

My partner and I absolutely loved our experience cooking with Benny. What a wonderful teacher and so so much fun. Definitely a laugh-a-minute and Benny and Nan made everything simple to follow.
