Taste the Color of Nature: Five Elements Food Art Box Course

About

Our program aims to introduce our guests to the colorful world of local nature seasoning food, mainly vegetables. 

Located in one of the most classical distinct in Hong Kong Island just next to the Central Business Distinct, and lies in the whole floor of a quaint building next to a small herbal garden, our center offers our guests privacy and cozy environment to  learn about local ingredients and favors, discover own color associations to objects and feelings, and experience the use of Wu Xing (五行) Five Elements color (Red, yellow, green, white, and black) to design their seasoning food-art box/ plate.

The course is instructed by our professional team of instructors, who are both psychologist/ therapist and Home-made Style Cooking Teacher. 

Through the art and food art experience, we sincerely wish, and encourage our guest to slow down the pace, embrace in the process of creation, as well as to express love and gratitude for their dear one.

Menu

• Color Associations
• Seasoning Five Elements food-art box/plate (can choose the theme of flowers, fruit garden, animals or festivals) (Included hand made artistic sushi, vegetable and fruit art, etc)

Schedule

Morning Class

• 10:00 am: Meet up at the Sai Ying Pun MTR station A2 exit
• 10:05 am: Culture: Walk along Dried Seafood Street to the herbal garden to our center
• 10:20 am: Welcoming and Introduction of the class
• 10:30 am: Art: Color Associations
• 10:40 am: Food Art: Seasoning Five Elements food-art box/ plate, Small Side dishes
• 12:20 pm: Enjoy and sharing the meal 
• 12:30 pm: End of the class

Afternoon Class

• 3:30 pm: Meet up at the Sai Ying Pun MTR station A2 exit
• 3:35 pm: Culture: Walk along Dried Seafood Street to the herbal garden to our center
• 3:50 pm: Welcoming and Introduction of the class
• 4:00 pm: Art: Color Associations
• 4:10 pm: Food Art: Seasoning Five Elements food-art box/ plate, Small Side dishes
• 5:50 pm: Enjoy and sharing the meal
• 6:00 pm: End of the class
