About

During the experience, we will learn, cook, taste, smell and understand the culture of Mexico through its authentic tastes. We will travel to the most beautiful market in the city, the Jamaica market, to buy fresh ingredients for cooking. We will teach you about the marking, its surroundings and the Metro, the most well-known transport means in the City.

Then, we will go to our house where we will cook classic, delicious, dishes such as Tacos, Chilaquiles, Guacamole, Sopes, Quesadillas, Sauces, among many other possibilities. In this class you the famous Mexican warmth. We will show you how to cook a whole menu of traditional Mexican food. Tell us if you prefer a special menu like Vegetarian or if you are allergic. We have special recipes. We can talk about politics, economics, literature, history, popular legends, music, psychology of the Mexican. Prices includes Ingredients, food, water, and transportation.

"Amazing flavors!"

Nicole and Ricardo could not have been sweeter. The market tour was exhaustive and informative - and the pride they have in its history and importance to the city is palpable. They're a delightful couple and had put together a sweet birthday surprise for me when we arrived back at their home to prepare dinner. There were decorations, party hats, and music and it was a completely unforgettable experience to prepare and eat food from incredibly fresh ingredients we'd just sourced at the market a short metro-ride away. I look forward to a repeat experience sometime very soon.

"Authentic Mexican experience"

Highly recommended! :) We had a tour in the market with Nicole and Ricardo. As it was a before Christmas period, they explained to us a lot about the traditions, decoration and a lot of interesting information about Mexico, history, cuisine. After that, we took the metro to reach their apartment. The preparation and cooking were spread among the 4 of us, who took part. We were all peeling, cleaning, chopping, and cooking. We learned a lot about Mexican dishes, spices, and traditions. It was a great experience and the hosts were really friendly and made us super welcome! I would highly recommend this experience and mainly Nicole and Ricardo as we had a great time and would come back to repeat for sure! :)
