About

Japanese homemade dishes are very healthy, well presented, and delicious. I want to share special recipes with you that I have inherited, which have served my family. These are very simple and easy to make in 30 to 50 minutes. I put special importance on the fact that you can make these dishes when you go back to your country. I also want to teach special recipes related to the seasons and to traditional events in Japan. See old rows of houses. Cook and eat local dishes. I hope you enjoy Japan and want to come back again soon.

"Excellent Cooking Experience"
This was one of the highlight of my trip to Japan. I definitely enjoyed learning to cook a few Japanese dishes. The host was very welcoming and I enjoyed learning a little about the culture.
"Wonderful experience"
Masako was so hospitable bringing us into her kitchen and teaching us how to cook giving us all special tips and stories about growing up and the recipes came from her mother. The food was delicious as we cooked our lunch and we had great conversation. We definitely do this again.
"Wonderful and heartwarming"
Our cooking class with Masako was one of the most wonderful experiences we have ever had. Fascinating and delicious and she also generously made for us some special calligraphy which we will always treasure. Masako was patient, skilful and very informative, as well as generous-hearted and welcoming. It was a special thrill to learn that her home, where the class was held, used to be a hostel for samurai warriors during the Edo era
"Fun and cozy!"
Masako-san was incredibly sweet. We cooked three memorable recipes, had a wonderful conversation, and sent me home with handmade souvenirs. I would love to do another course the next time I'm in Tokyo.
"A Perfect Blend of Culinary Art and Cultural Immersion"
I recently had the pleasure of joining the Traditional Tokyo Home Cooking class, and it exceeded all my expectations. This wasn’t just a cooking class—it was an immersive cultural experience. We learned to make handmade udon, crispy tempura, and a perfectly rolled Japanese omelette, all under the expert guidance of a master chef. The process was enlightening, with each step meticulously explained, making the art of Japanese cooking accessible and enjoyable. What made this experience even more special was the personal touch added by the master. After we finished cooking, he complimented our efforts by writing each participant’s name in beautiful Kanji on a piece of rice paper. Watching him carefully craft the characters was a highlight in itself, adding a deep cultural connection to the already memorable experience. The food we prepared was nothing short of exceptional—the udon was delightfully chewy, the tempura was light and crisp, and the omelette was fluffy and flavorful. But it was the combination of learning, cooking, and the unexpected art of Kanji that made this class truly unforgettable.
