Private Mediterranean Cooking Class & Market Tour

This is a dynamic, participative and fun Mediterranean cooking class, guided by professional chef. The experience will start with a tour of the “La Boquería” market, the largest public market in Barcelona, where the guide will tell you about the traditional foods and also the most popular Catalans products. After that, we come back to our studio in order to start the cooking class.

Before starting the cooking class, you will have the chance to try ten tapas from different cities in Spain, and the chef will give a brief explanation of the origins of each ones. After that, we will start the cooking class where you will learn how to make seafood Paella, Spanish omelette and Catalan cream. You will then be invited to our private lounge for a tasting menu of our cuisine accompanied by the finest wines, all served by waiters. It is an private cooking workshop, that is, with a chef, assistant and a private space for you. For groups of two to thirty participants.

You can take this private cooking class with 2, 3 or 4 participants. However the fixed price is 450 Euros. Please let us know how many participants will join to the class in the comments while booking. 

Menu

The experience will start with a tour of the “La Boquería” market, the largest public market in Barcelona, where the guide will tell you about the traditional foods and also the most popular Catalans products.

Next, head to the private home of a professional chef for a comprehensive, hands-on cooking class. Learn a variety of traditional Spanish recipes for dishes such as paella, patatas bravas, and several kinds of tapas. Taste as you go along and listen to the chef explain how to use important regional ingredients such as olive oil, tomatoes, and herbs.

Before starting the cooking class, you will have the chance to try ten tapas from different cities in Spain, and the chef will give a brief explanation of the origins of each ones.

We will start the cooking class where you will learn how to make seafood Paella, Spanish omelette and Catalan cream.

You will then be invited to our private lounge for a tasting menu of our cuisine accompanied by the finest wines, all served by waiters.

It will be held as a private cooking workshop, that is, with a chef, assistant and a private space exclusively for this group.

For groups of four to forty participants.

• Potatoes “Bravas” with three sauces
• Assorted Iberian cold cuts
• Andalusian fish
• Traditional garlic prawns

• Manchego cheese
• Cantabrian anchovies
• Mussels with salsa
• Octopus “feira”
• Catalan cream
• Accompanied by fine wine with denomination of origin, mineral water, beer and Coca-cola.
• Coffee or tea.

Schedule

• 3:00 pm: It starts with a walk Through the Boqueria Market, located in "Las Ramblas of Barcelona".
• 3:45 pm: Welcome to the participant with snacksand drink while you cook. 
  • It includes tasting 10 "Tapas".
• 4:15 pm: A brief introduction of the activities will be made.
  • Every participant will have an apron, a table with space, with the materials, the ingredients and the food for cooking the meal.
  • Will count with the help of an assistant and chef, who is the one in charge to give the directions to the team in the elaboration of the recipes.
• 6:30 pm: When the meal is done, the participants will move to the dining area where they will sit at an imperial table to eat the meal they have prepared.
