"Amazing experience!"
Highly recommend this cooking class!! Instructor was extremely knowledgeable and patient with us, the ingredients were fresh from their garden, the kitchen was clean and well stocked. Fun, private class with a good amount of food and since the class takes about 2 hours, you’ll still have time for sightseeing or doing something at your leisure after the class.

Cooking class at Hom was great the location is really nice and the chef was full of knowledge. We made some great curries.

Pim gave me a cooking lesson on how to make a proper North Eastern Thai Green curry. The tips she helped me with was invaluable because now I know why my own attempts did not come out as smooth and sweetish and as green as the dish we prepared together!
At their roof garden leading from the kitchen, the different herbs and some of the vegetables was picked. The dessert was interesting, I tried it the Thai way which included an egg boiled in hot sugar syrup, it was not my cup of tea! But I will make my own version using the same ingredients and make a Thai South African combined dessert!

"Satisfying and Insightful"
Hom was very accommodating. Thai native and the staff, were very welcoming and room came clean and organized. The ambiance was relaxing and inviting. Definitely a must visit hostel. If you want a cozy place to stay with activities you can participate with then book now! They have available cooking class during the evening and you dont want to miss it for yourself! We loved our teacher, Pim, who was very good at explaining everything related to the two dishes we cooked-green curry and Tom Yum Goong.
