The title of the experience encapsulates our tradition of gathering every Sunday with family or friends to enjoy good moments, music, and, of course, a delicious paella. With this, we aim to make any day feel like a Sunday get-together among friends.
We will start with a refreshing and creative sangria, have some appetizers to accompany the sangria, and get to know each other better. Next, we will prepare our Valencian paella with original ingredients such as chicken, rabbit, garrofó, and bajoqueta. Initially, we will work with the authentic recipe, usually passed down from our parents and loved ones in those Sunday gatherings. If all diners agree, we can also make a vegetarian version (previously agreed upon) and vary the appetizers. While we cook the paella, we will prepare a tasty aioli and serve it on slices of bread.
Furthermore, we will take the opportunity to share the history of rice and Valencia, a practically unknown legacy. Since Valencia has the privilege of being where rice was introduced to Europe, this story deserves to be told as it should. We will conclude the menu with a horchata mousse, another distinctive element of 'La terreta,' as we Valencians say.
